15th week of school

This week was a very busy week. We worked bookfair and ISA soccer shoot out. This week 4A worked morning and recess music. On Monday, we did book fair. We didn't have any classes so we didn't have to work. On Tuesday, we worked recess music again. And soccer shootout. For bookfair, I took off period three. For bookfair, I worked behind the little things just so no one sneaks it out. And I also worked as watching people near the books. On Wednesday, we worked morning music again. And we worked book fair for period four. On Thursday, I worked bookfair for period five. We worked morning music. And it was the last day of soccer shootout. At the end of eighth grade soccer shoutout, we got to kick the ball into the goal with our groups. My group won first with fifteen points total. The group that was just before mine was Jahlyssa's group. They won second with ten points. I got to kick twice. That scored us ten points, then Apples kicked the final kick and got it in. That gave us fifteen. Jahlyssa got to kick twice. Aleesha missed. That left them with ten points. I don't play soccer yet, I still got it in both times. In book fair, I was supposed to go to the book fair with my period five, but I was working at that time. On Friday, it was same old, same old. As usual we worked morning music. That day there wasn't soccer shootout. We worked book fair I think. For period four. After school my dad picked up Jahlyssa and I at Burger King. We got Starbucks after because I had a but one get one free. Jah got the free. At about ten at night, I went to watch Catching Fire with my brother, my brothers girlfriend, and his friends. It was supposed to start at 11:30 but there were a lot of previews. So it started at about 12:00 and it ended at 2:15. It felt like three hours when it actually was two. In my opinion I think that the first movie was better. We got home at about three. I woke up at seven on Saturday to get ready for campus beautification. I only had four hours of sleep. My group painted yellow boundary lines. It was fun. I also painted the speed bumps. I painted it with a boy named Jeremy and Ms. Fukuda. Ms. Fukuda accidentally painted the tick mark that showed where the parking stall was. She didn't know.

Highlight of my week was doing campus beautification. When we were painting, Mr. Lee's daughter, Maddison kept showing us how to do things. She's only three. She's so adorable!. She's really smart too. When Khrizz and I were taking out the tape that was covering the ground where we weren't supposed to paint, I made it into a ball. And I put one on the other. I was planning to make a ball to play with, but it turned out looking like a baby. So I said "Khrizz! Make a bow. This looks like a baby girl" and Khrizz said "Ooh, let's name her and combine her name!" We came up with Chizz, but that was too weird (x. Then we came up with Kraena. That's what we named her, Kraena. Kevin, Aleesha, and Laila dropped her -,-. Her crib is my cubby. Campus beautification was tiring. When I got home I took a shower then fell asleep. Then I had to wake up to got to a party. I went to sleep at about 1:30 and woke up at 4:00. We made the campus look pretty good. With the lines going down the stairwells, a line going all the way down from A building all the way down to C building, and lines near the curbs where it's off limits. I'm glad some people cared and chose to volunteer even though they didn't have to. That was a nice thing of them to do.

Lesson learned. Lesson learned was that it's always good to work together. If you can't work together, it will be hard to get things done. At campus beautification we had to work together to get things done. One person can't just pain the stairwells, and lines by themselves. That would take really long. We managed to get all of it done in three hours by working together. There wasn't really any problems besides the fact that on the curbs there were paint where it wasn't supposed to be. At least we worked together to accomplish beautifying the campus!. Teamwork is the best solution to get things done quickly.

Here is baby Kraena, Daddy Khrizz, and Mommy Cheana
"Paint me a picture"
"Okay I will paint you this yellow line that means do not go beyond this point"

14th Week of School

Okay so this week was a four day school week. We didn't have school on Monday because of Veterans Day. Petriese, Alesia, and Chelsey slept over my house on Sunday. We were telling real ghost stories. I got scared. While they were telling the story, I accidedentally kicked my lamp and it unplugged. We all got scared. I tried turning the lamp on and off, but it wouldn't work. Then I realized that it unplugged. Silly Cheana. On Monday, we ate breakfast, then we went to Starbucks. Then we went to foodland and bought waterballoons. After, we walked to Petrieses house. We filled up the balloons with water, then we had a waterballoon fight. It was tallest against shortest. Alesia and Chelsey vs Petriese and I. Alesia sprayed me with the hose. After that, Chelsey and I went back to my house. At my house I painted chelseys nails. She said she wanted her middle finger a different color. She tried not messing up her nails. The next day was Tuesday. On Tuesday period 4A worked lunch music. Periods that day was 6, 2, 4. I had English, then math, then leadership.  On Wednesday, Mackenzie and I forgot the iPod at the cafe. We were stuck in A101 during both lunches. We all had a discussion with Mr. Ing. We forgot all about the iPod. When I was in period five, I realized that we didn't pick up iPod. That made a problem. The custodians had to bring it to Mr. Ing. After school I went to the cafeteria to see if it was still there. It wasn't so I realized that it was back in A101. On Wednesday, we remembered to pick up the iPod. On Thursday, we went to check out the park for the evacuation. While we were walking through the path, Daisy was getting scared of the dogs. And someone was saying "What if a raper comes out?". When school ended, Mackenzie and I went to eat pho. It was pretty good. When we left, we seen Laila, Korey, and Khrizz coming out of Ohana drive inn. The next day, we had the evacuation. I was holding D building first floors sign. The walk was pretty far. We didn't get to take our path that we took earlier that day. The other way was farther. Period three was really short. From about 9:00 to 9:59. The other periods were still one hour and twenty minutes. At practice, I was really tired!. We did about 7 suicides. They weren't normal suicides, they were really far apart. Before that, we sprinted back and forth about 10 times. It was really tiring. I felt like I was gonna faint. When I was going home, I fell asleep. I had a headache. When I got home I tried sleeping on the couch downstairs, my mouth was watering a lot for some reason. Five seconds later, I threw up a lot. I went straight into the shower. Just like what happened on the AR opt out day. I went home early that day.

The highlight of my week was doing the evacuation. We got time out of third period. For some reason, it felt like Halloween. I don't really know why though. It was weird. We got mini water bottles after to drink. I put mine in the freezer. At recess, I took it out and there was ice in it. When we first got it, it was warm. Then it froze and it tasted much better. During the evacuation we stood holding signs. A lot of people brought out jackets, that was a problem. And some even had their devices with them. I seen someone post a picture on Instagram of them walking to the park for the evacuation. They could've gotten in trouble but they were too sly. Mrs. Shinjo changed our plans. We weren't supposed to take attendance. But she made us anyways. Evacuation didn't go as we planned it would.

Lesson learned. The lesson I learned was to be more responisble and to never forget what you're supposed to do in order to move on. Like how we forgot to pick up the iPod. We were supposed to remember to pick it up. But we forgot and made a problem. We should've reminded each other to pick up the iPod. But we both forgot. That's why on Friday, I wanted to leave extra early to pick up the iPod. That time I thought about the iPod the whole day. I never forgot about it. That was putting my group first. I put my group first by thinking about what has to be done for my group. I never forgot About what had to be done.

13th Week of School

Since I always forget what occurred during the week, I decided to write parts of my blog everyday. On Sunday, I got a new phone! The iPhone 5s. I was so happy when I got it. So on Monday, the periods were odd, 1, 3, 5. In home room during C.C.T.V period two kept laughing during the broadcast. They said because Mrs. Anbe tripped on the cord. They laughed after almost every sentence. Mr. Ing said that a different period has to go on the next day. During period one, keyboarding, our groups were graded on our bar graphs and pie charts. My partner and I got 39/40! That's an A. I was satisfied. At least it will bring my grade up by a little bit. During recess everyone attacked my cereal. Especially Khrizz. In my period three, social studies, we had to turn in our projects. We had to make a Facebook page or an Instagram page for one of the monarchs we learned in class. I did Kamehameha IV. Alexander Liholiho. I made an Instagram page. After we turned it in, we played a monarch game with the whole class. We had to guess which monarch the paper is talking about. The first paper that was shared was mine. Everyone guessed wrong besides my group. Cause I told them it was mines and I said it was the fourth. We got every page right. We won the game and we got Ilima bucks. In my period five, science, we got to look in microscopes. We looked at a plant cell, onion cell, and cheek cell. For the cheek cell I volunteered for my group to use my cheek cell. I had to use a toothpick and scratch the inside of my cheek. Then Mrs. Fujimoto put a dye on the slide and I swirled the toothpick around in it. Then I put the cover and placed it on the microscope stage. I could see my own cheek cell! It looked really cool. She let us take pictures with our phones. Here's a picture of my cheek cell using the medium lense.
The dye made it brownish orangish. She had to dye it because the cells are white or clear. The only way we could view it was if it was dyed. I was late to afterschoolsales because we were looking through microscopes. On Tuesday, we had a very interesting home room. We had a discussion about our solutions for our problem. Everyone kept shooting down our ideas. It was an even day. 2, 4, 6. I had math first. Then leadership, then English. We had a substitute. 7th graders weren't allowed to work. On Wednesday, it was an odd day. 3, 5, 1. In social studies, we played this monarchy game. Ms. Chin showed a piece of our project to the class, then we had to guess which monarch it was protaining to. My group won because everyone got stumped on the first one that was shared. The first one was mine. Kamehameha IV, Alexander Liholiho. The period after that was science. The period after that was keyboarding. Mr. Nishimura had his teachers evaluation. Mr. Lee came into our period and observed what we were learning. Mr. Nishimura didn't sound nothing like himself that day. I didn't even know it was him. He was really nice that day LOL. I helped almost everyone with their power points and Mr. Lee was sitting next to my partner and I. He was watching us. Before Mr. Lee left, he told Mr. Nishimura that he is gonna hire me when Mr. Nishimura retires. Then Mr. Nishimura told me what Mr. Lee told him. I didn't believe him until he asked the boy that sits near his desk if he actually said that. On Thursday, it was an even day, 4, 6, 2. I had leadership, then English, then math. In leadership we spray painted the fields again. When I had to move the tape measure, I got paint all over my palms. It was really hot outside. I had to hold the sprinkler so that it wouldn't wet them while they were spraying the fields. That was fun. At least I got to wash the paint off with the sprinkler. I finally got to see Kaimiloa. I never did see it before. On Friday it was ISA. Out of the five of us that got I trouble for AR, Chelsey, Haley, and I were the only ones that could help out during the morning, recess, and at advisory. It was really hot. Me, Lailer, and Korey tried doing pull-ups on the bars at the court. Chelsey, Haley, and I had to still had to go to class. I wanted to work badly. The periods were 5, 1, 3. In period five science, when I turned in my homework, Mrs. Fujimoto seen it and she said to the class "Oh I love homework from Cheana!". And we took a mini test. I got 23/25. That's an A. In period one keyboarding, we had to go to R102 for class because Mr. Nishimuras AC in E205 had to get fixed. The AC in that room was colder. We took a skills test, I wasn't used to that keyboard. We typed a letter, Chelsey and I made the letter for Mr. Nishimura. We also made PowerPoint for fun. In period three social studies, we had another debate in class. This week flew by really fast. I didn't realize that today was Friday.

The highlight of my week was spending time with Alesia (Alay-Sha) when she came back. She said that her name was actually supposed to be pronounced as Alaysha. But people started calling her Alesia (Ale-Sha). So now there is only one Aleesha. And there is one Alaysha. Alesia & Aleesha. Looks the same, pronounced differently. Homophones!. She got taller. When we were playing tether ball down on Petrieses street, Alesia tried riding the penny board, then she fell, and now she has a cut on her knee. It was bleeding. And now she has a new way of making a bandaid. She has a lot of inventions in her head now days. First the ghetto go pro. And now the ghetto band aid?!. Oh Alesia you're so funny. She used paper towel, folded it so it fits her cut, then put seram wrap around her knee, then put duck tape in the back so it wouldn't come apart. Most of her inventions involve duck tape and seram wrap. So make sure you have all the materials before you make one. She's so silly oh my gosh.

Lesson I learned this week was to make the right choice. We chose to cheat on AR, that was our choice. But we made a wrong and very bad choice. Now we are suffering from the consequences. I regret asking for help on the AR test that one time. Now our group suffered. There was only two people from period four that worked ISA. I felt really bad for them. I learned from my mistake, not to ever do it again. I will never cheat on an AR test ever again.

12th Week of School

School, school, school. 12th week of school. This week went by pretty fast. On Monday we worked after school sales. Petriese brought her slinky to school. It was even periods that day. I can't remember what happened. Ugh why can't I remember what I did during the week. On Tuesday, for science we had to do a project of what a plant or animal cell is like. I did a plant cell is like a house. When I was drawing, Mrs. Fujimoto showed my drawing on the projector. She said "I'm excited for this one". In period 3, social studies, Jordan and I went down to the library because Ms. Chin let us, so we printed out our papers.  On Wednesday, we had a substitute for period two math. Mrs.Russo. She was scary. We had to stay quiet the whole time. When Chelsey and I had to leave class early for afterschool sales, whole walking to A building stairs, the security guard let us use the elevator to go down. It was cool. But it sucked that it was only one floor down. On Thursday it was Halloween. We had to dress out. I was a nerd. Too bad I don't have suspenders. For period five science that day, since our finished projects had to be turned in, my project was the only one that neat. Well that's what my teacher said. I was the only one who had to share because my teacher said it was beautiful (x. When I finished presenting all my classmates were like "wow so pro". And one of them said "Mrs.Fujimoto too bad yours isn't like that" and Mrs.Fujimoto said "It's mines now" I was laughing. We got candy too. In period one Mr.Nishimura gave us lolipops. In period three we had Ms. Arakawa as a substitute. She was dancing. She was really funny. After school Khrizz asked if she could have my cereal. I said you can have some. I gave the ziplock to her and I tried getting it back so I had to chase her around for it. The struggles. For Halloween that night I was the girl in black. While petriese was passing out candy at her house, I was sitting on her dads truck and my hair was messed up. I was scaring people. One house that we went to, petriese got a toothbrush. And every house that we went to after that, she would always be like "where's my toothbrush?!" "Oh my gosh is my toothbrush still in my bag?". Ah she was so worried about her toothbrush. We didn't get that much candy this year. On Friday I didn't go to school cause I had a stomach ache from the candy I ate on Thursday. I just ate candy corn and I got a stomach ache the next morning. I guess I didn't check my candy well enough. Later on that night I went to Bellows beach with petriese and her family. They were supposed to camp out there but they didn't want to. We played hide and clap, we danced, we got f'real. There f'real there is cheap. F'real. LOL see what I did there?. It was $2.79. Petriese and I taught the little kids there how to dance to our version to gas pedal. It was so cute!. We also went crab hunting! I brought my crabs home. They're still alive as of now. I just checked on them. I'm so weird. I got pinched by a crab for the first time, it clipped itself on my hand and I have a cut now. Straight thug. On Saturday, I went to my little cousins birthday party. When we did the piñata when it was my turn to hit the piñata I broke it. They said I shouldn't have played because I play softball. At least they didn't have to wait forever for the little kids to break open that thing.

Highlight of my week was going to bellows beach. Petriese and I were sorta matching. We wore shoes with long socks. Ugh I wanted to wear slippers but slippers wouldn't match with my outfit. Yeah I worry about my clothes that I wear. My shoes got wet because when I dived for a crab, and then I got up, a wave splashed on my feet. It felt uncomfortable. I actually benifited from wearing my shoes. When a crab ran, it would hide under my shoe. Easy catch!. There wear a lot of crabs. Big and small. I caught mostly all the big crabs. The girls would scream when they see a crab. Petrieses dad smashed the crabs instead of catching it. When we got back to the camp sight, they cooked the crabs! They put it in foil, then they put wine, shoyu, onion, calamansi, and other things then they put it on the grill. While it was cooking you could hear the crabs popping open. Poor crabs. When they opened the foil there were crab legs all over the place. They exploded. The dads there ate the crabs it was gross. I dared one of the 10 year old boys to eat one. I counted "One, Two, Three!" Then he put it in his mouth. He said it tasted gross. Dancing was fun. There was one girl who was as weird as me!. We kept yelling "Ya nasty". She was so adorable. The last time we went to bellows we camped out. Me, petriese, Alesia, and petrieses family. This year it still looked like slenderman a forest. It was really creepy. It gave me the chills. I hope the next time we go, we camp out.

Lesson learned was to be careful. Like to becareful around fire, I got burnt when one of the girls were playing with a burning puck. A spark flew in my direction and it landed on my finger then it burnt my finger. And when I caught a crab, it pinched me and wouldn't let go. It hurt so badly. I never got pinched that hard from a crab before. I wasn't careful when I was near the water. And then the water wet my shoe. That's why it's important to always be cautious and careful.

Hammahs,

Shhh... It's a secret!

Ugh I need seven more stars to reach gold level for Starbucks. I need to get seven more stars before February. You get a star by making a purchase with your mobile Starbucks card. I have one, with no more money in it. The struggles. I like Starbucks. I don't know what other things that I like. I like food, but Starbucks is better. You don't even know how much pictures of Starbucks I have in my phone. Too many to count. But yeah. I like Starbucks. I wish I had another Starbucks card. With money in it

Last year, I got five Starbucks cards for Christmas. They all went down before the year even ended. That's how much I like Starbucks.

I like Jamba Juice too, but it's too pricy. I like Starbucks better. I would always refill my Starbucks card with the money I bring to buy Starbucks before I make the purchase just so the stars would go to my account. Silly goose.

I can't think of any other things. Kendamas are cool. Hammers and a ball. Oh yeaaah! I like the sweets Kendamas. Not the generic kind. The kendama I have now is almost breaking. You can get the sweets kendama from amazon. I want this specific kendama. So if you choose to get the kendama this is the kendama that I prefer. And what to search up on Amazon.

11th Week of School

Hey guys, I'm at a hotel right now for the weekend. That's why I'm not coming to the voluntary work day tomorrow. This week was terrific. 4A worked TV. I went on TV on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Monday, the periods were odd. I can't really remember what happened that day (x. I can't remember what happened on Tuesday, or Wednesday. Well on Thursday, when I took my AR tests, and I got up to 25% on the chart. I filled in my boxes with mini crabs. Since my name is crab catcher... I just cut out 20 crabs and I put double sided tape behind them. I came up with the idea. I told Chelsey to print out Melona bars. She did. I put double sided tape behind each Melona bar. After school, Malia, Petriese, Emerie and I walked all the way to Safeway. It was sooooooo hot. I couldn't stand the heat. And my bag a really heavy. We walked there just to eat Pandas Express and drink bubble tea. All the way there just for that. Seriously. On Friday, we chose our names for secret Santa. Shh... It's a secret. Someone's slip fell on the floor. And who evers name is on it, they don't get to participate. Your cubby isn't the best place to hide it. So I don't know why someone would hide it in their cubby. Later on that day, I went to a hotel to stay over at. That's where I am right now. On Saturday, we swam all day. We swam in the morning after we ate breakfast, then went back to eat lunch. We swam again. We played basketball, and volley ball. I went down the water slide a lot of times. And my other cousin Haley and I went under the bridge which is 5ft deep. And we went through a tunnel which had mini waterfalls. I almost drowned under the bridge btw. I'm not that good of a swimmer. I can swim underwater pretty good though. I can only puppy paddle when my head is above water. Most of my cousins came. I'm sleeping over here again. Two days, and two nights.

The highlight of my week was staying over at the hotel. My cousins, Aaliyah, Diana, and Xeannen (Shannon) learned how to play spoons. Ah, spoons. That game is so fun. Xeannen would always lose cause she was really slow (x. The pool, waterslide, tunnel, bridge, basketball, and volleyball was fun. The girls would always loose. I was on the boys team cause I was better. The AC I the room is really cold. Friday night I hit my head on the dresser that I was sleeping by. What's up with Kendamas? That's all I see here! LOL. All my cousins like playing with it. I don't know what'd so good about it. A hammer and a ball. That's all I see. Once we were like "You wanna know a secret? I shower with no clothes on!" "You wanna know a secret? I tried drowning a fish". You would only find it funny if you were here.

Lesson learned, don't go swimming in the deep. You're gonna drown. So technically, don't to dumb things. That's an obvious lesson. If you go in the deep, and you can't swim that good, you'll drown. If you put your hand on a stove, you'll burn your hand. It's easy to stay safe. So I don't know how people are dumb enough to do that. Well I swam under the bridge for fun.

1st week of 2nd quarter.

Hey guys! So we just started second quarter. This week was great. On Monday, we had no school because of the holiday Columbus Day. On Tuesday, Mackenzie and I worked ID. We also worked ID for the week. On Wednesday, everyone started to work on their posters and flyers for Halloween dress out and talent show. On Thursday, during period one with Mr. Nishimura, I showed him my blogger and he seen my background, and he said "Looks like an old lady's house! What kine background is that?" I was laughing. And he had a smurf figurine and he said "Cheana look it's your twin!" Then I put on my glasses and carried my binder and posed like it LOL.
On Friday, we had to pass out wristbands for AR opt out. I went home early that day cause I had a headache and I was vomiting. My head hurted so much. I got taken home before 2nd period started. I went to sleep when I got home, my head still hurted when I woke up, so I went back to sleep. Then I ate food, then I felt better. That night I went to haunted plantation with most of my friends. It was so scary! I couldn't handle. I don't think I will ever go again. Once we went through the tunnel, there was a guy with no face watching us, and I was like "Hi what's your name?" And he started screaming at petriese them. His breath staaaaank!. We were walking to the first house and there was the grudge waiting outside of the door for us to come in. I was holding on to jez then Haley was holding on to me. Haley was crying cause the lady grabbed her arm. (X. I wanted to go with jez but the other girls pulled me out. Jez was the only one that went through with the dads. Petriese, faith, Haley, Alexis and I bailed out. Giiiirl! You don't even know what would happen. Their breath smelt like pizza btw. Cricket didn't even wanna go through the tunnel. When we were waiting in line, there were people trying to scare us. Sheila got scared and she didn't want to go in.

Highlight of my week was going to haunted plantation. It was a bonding thing, but faith and Haley was crying. I guess that the more you crowd up with people, the more they scare you. Cause they can tell that you're scared by you just hanging on to people. $15 down the drain-,-. I wanted to go back in. But it was too late. Next time I go, I should shove mints down their throat. Cause you don't even understand how stink their breath was. They probably don't visit the dentist often. The people who got VIP passes are dumb. $30 and it was like only 10 minutes. It was pretty short.

The lesson learned was to never bail out. Like how I bailed out. I wanted to go back in so badly. I wasted $15. Daayum I could've put that in Cheana funds. Cheana funds is a piggy bank in my room and I have a goal which is $600. LOL. I'm at $75 right now. I could've put $20 more in Cheana funds -,-. Anyways, If I go again, I'm never gonna bail out. Bailing out when you spend money is a waste. And our parents worked hard for that twenty. Now it's down the drain. Atleast the monsters are getting their profit. I hope they use it to buy breath mints. Cause again, THEIR BREATH IS STINK.

Retreat 2013

The retreat was one of the best field trips that I've ever been to. We did a lot of firm activities. The house was really nice. Period two and six got the rooms downstairs and period four got the room upstairs. Once we got there, we had to wait a while before we unpacked. Period four had to bring the mattress upstairs for Kevin to sleep on. Me and Aleesha had the bed to sleep on. Each session we did usually involved making posters. We did a review of the first quarter, and planned out 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter. There were sessions where we made things like the memory jar, mobile hangers, and we made an interview video. The memory jars were so cute! We had our folders taped onto a shelf. We had to write magic notes to every one. Everytime someone said Cheana or Shayna I was like huh?. There were two Cheana's that time. We caught most of the crabs on the beach. When we went back to the beach we could barely find any. For one of the sessions that day, we made memory jars. We went down to the beach to get sand for the jars. I found crabs. Then when we were done, I hot glued the crabs and called it fossils! LOL. Period four had our chopped that night. We made spaghetti. We got 3rd place. That night I couldn't sleep. I was too scared. I woke up at 3 and I woke up Aleesha to stay up with me. We stayed up and watch the sunrise.

The next morning, I heard that period two and six were supposed to come upstairs and draw on our faces. But we were lucky cause Mr.Ing stopped them. Ha!. We were early enough to see whales and turtles. The whales were crossing near the horizon. The turtles heads were popping out of the ocean. That day, we did mobile hangers for one of the sessions. We had our talent show. That night we had s'mores, and we went down to the beach to catch crabs. I hit glued them again. Period two had their chopped. They made taco cups. It wasn't bad. It was okay. That night me and Jez slept upstairs and we talked stories until we fell asleep. I had a good sleep last night. I didn't have a dream. I didn't realize that I fell asleep though. Jahlyssa and Jayde stood in our room watching us sleep! I didn't even know that!. #CreeperStatus.

The last day, we cleaned up the house and had a relay race. And we took pictures. For breakfast we had pancakes with powdered sugar on it. It was delish (x. #Fabu. Khrizz went down to the beach with me to take pictures. It was really nice. Then we took the group pictures in our collared shirt, regular yellow shirt, and elementary school uniform. Voyagers ftw. After that, we went down to the beach to go play in the sand we spent two hours there. Mr. Ing made us banana lumpia. That was good too. And then we had Melona. I dug a hole and trained two thugs. When I went back to the garage with my thugs, Laila and khrizz wanted to hold it, so I gave it to Laila. She dropped the crab and Khrizz smashed thug #2. We had a funeral for it. Rip to all the crabs that got killed in those last three days (x. Sigh. The bus way back was a long drive. So I grabbed my sleeping bag and me and Jezrae fell asleep. We finally got our phones back on the bus. We all were so quiet cause we had our phones LOL. There wasn't a single peep from us. We were too concentrated on our phone. We finally got back to the boys and girls club and parents were waiting for us. I was last to leave. My sister took forever. I hope I can go to the retreat next year.

Highlight of the retreat was catching crabs. At night all the big crabs came out and we attacked them. They were really fast. Too fast. The little crabs we could catch with our hands. The big crabs we had to use a cup. That was a really fun way to bond. Well not all of us wanted to go catch crabs. It was sill fun hot gluing them though LOL. When we were at the beach there was a crab in Kevin's hair. I was laughing so much. The cup with the crabs smelt so bad! I felt like I was gonna puke. Ew. That was the gross thing about it though.

Lesson learned was to have fun in your life. But not too much fun. You can have fun as long as you get work done. We were having fun while getting work done at the retreat. Fun always is a turn on. I could never go a day without having fun. If people can't make things fun, time to turn on the potatoe smile switch. I'll make it fun for everyone then. What is like without fun?.

Last Weekly Blog. For the Quarter.

The quarter is finally over. This week was the last week of first quarter. I had fun this week. 4A worked morning and recess music. I was always first at the job. I set up A102 by myself. Alesia was always late. On Wednesday Mackenzie beat me to the job. Wednesday was also October 2nd. October second, the day that everything was due. Grades and AR. If we didn't bring our grades up or finish AR we wouldn't be able to go to the retreat. When I went into A101 for advisory, I looked at the side board, and guess what! My name was on the tutoring list! Ugh. I checked webgrader and it was for Mr.Mitsudas class. My English teacher. I had a C! I couldn't believe it. Why today?! At least I was lucky enough to have him for the last period of the day. I made up the work that I got a C on and turned it into a B. He updated it once the school bell rang. I was lucky. Hopefully none of my other B's go to C's. On Friday, we had to go to another advisory than A101. Cousin (Chelsey) and I went to our second favorite teachers class for advisory. Mr. Nishimura. When we went to drop off our bags at his class, he gave us donuts :3. It was good (x. LOL and when we went to his class for advisory he gave us candy, but we had to scrub his sink. It was worth it. But in cousin and I's period two, our hands smelt like a toilet. LOL. We used Ajax to clean the sink. After school that day, I missed softball practice so that I could go to the doctors. I got the flu shot and the gardisal (sp?) shot. The gardisal shot was on my throwing arm -,- it hurt so much that I thought I seen the light. The flu shot was on my other arm. The next day, I got sick. Cause of the flu shot. I woke up at 1:30 pm.

Highlight of my week was going to Mr. Nishimuras class for advisory. He gave us candy and donuts. Cause he's diabetic. He's one of cousin and I's favorite teachers. We scrubbed his sink. My hands were wrinkly afterwards. He gave us this sour candy. The green tasted good. Whenever we have to go to another advisory, he's my first choice. If not, then it's Ms.Chins class. He made trouble to us. It was funny though. He called me shortie and Chelsey stupid. He didn't say it to hurt our feelings, he said it to make us laugh. And It made us laugh. We actually didn't care that he was teasing us. We know that he actually doesn't mean it. Right? LOL.

The lesson I learned was that the flu shot makes you sick. Just kidding. The lesson that I learned was that in order to get rewards, you have to earn it. Like the retreat. You had to earn it by getting good grades, and finishing work on time. If not, you won't be able to go. Like me, I got a C on October 2nd. But at the end of the day, it became a B ;). I sort of rushed to get things done. At least it got my grade up in time. Okay bye now (;.

1st Quarter Blog

First quarter is almost over! I'm glad I got to learn new things, and meet new people. Leadership may seem easy to the people who are observing what we do when we work. But it's not easy. This quarter was very crazy. I had to get my grades up to B's & A's before October 2nd, which is today. I had to go through a lot to earn these grades. Tests, quizes, essays, one from each of the core classes. I tried my best on each of them. I got all of my C's to B's and A's. We rotated our jobs throughout the quarter. Each of the jobs had a big responsibility for us to take care of. Each leadership student had a role in the jobs. No one sat on the side, or didn't work unless they were on probation. I made it through this quarter with A's and B's. With dance and softball hanging on my shoulders, I managed to keep up in school. As a 7th grade class secretary, I figure that there will be more obstacles that the 7th grade class officers will be juggling, than an average leadership student. But, I will have to take full responsibility for my work that will need to be completed throughout the school year. I can't always rely on everyone else to get things done. I need to become responsible for my own work. This quarter was mostly about being responsible. That's one of the qualities that a leadership student should have. Responsibility. By the end, we all should be able to take care of ourselves, know what's best, and make the right decisions. We had enough fooling around, it's time to get serious -.- not that serious though. Add sugar and spice, and it'll make everything nice (x jk. I wonder how everyone will act in second quarter. Oh well, first quarter is when everything began.

I'm getting used to getting up early so I can get to school in time for my job, getting used to seeing the same people over and over again. I'm getting to know everyone one by one. From the things I learned about them, most of them are the type of people that I know I can trust. Some people aren't there yet. To get on my good side, you can't lie to me. That's what I hate most. When people lie to you. The truth is the only thing that matters. Lies are just going to push you back one more step. That's not a good thing. If someone lies to you about doing something, they say that it is correct when it actually isn't, you do what they said was correct. And then you get in trouble because it was the wrong choice. I need friends that I could trust. And won't lie to me. I'll hopefully discover more things about people throughout the other quarters.

My teachers are the best. I regret saying that I wanted to be in 7-1. 7-3 is the best. With Mrs.Fujimoto, Mr.Nishimura, Mr.Mitsuda, and Ms.Chin. They understand us kids. Best of all, even though he is not a 7-3 teacher,  Mr.Ing. The teacher that makes us laugh, the teacher that can be serious, and the teacher that everyone enjoys having. I know your reading this. Hi. LOL.

In the beginning of the quarter, us as seventh grade leadership students were getting to know the rules and regulations of working. I don't know what regulations means but okay! I'll use it anyways. We were new to working with the whole school. From making school ID's to helping people around campus. A big job. We had to become familiarized with the school, just so we become used to rotating periods, having different teachers every hour, getting to class on time, and most of all, getting our work done. Now that the quarter is almost finished, I got used to walking around campus and helping out the school. I just need to be prepared for when we get things thrown at us to finish. Not literally. But when we get assignments that are due in such short time. That's when things get tough. I'll manage to make it through the next three quarters ahead of me. That's the end of my first quarter blog! See you guys at school!
Hey Daisy, I see a star next to you. Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what Daisy's grades are.

8th Week of School

Almost to the end of the quarter! It's not October 2nd btw. This week was a great week. My grades went up! I'm almost off the tutoring list. I accomplished a lot this week. I finished AR, brought up my C's to B's or A's, and I got all of my late work done. This week we worked lunch music. It was a rainy week. Dance and softball got cancelled on Tuesday due to the weather. I'm still confused on how Mr. Ing found out about the ghetto go pros (x One of my theories is that Petrieses sister told him about it. I'm pretty sure she did. We turned in our all accesses on Tuesday I believe. On Thursday, Petriese, Emi, Alesia and I went to longs. And we did the same thing that we did last year in 6th grade. Put on masks and take a picture. Ah the memories. This week went by really slowly. On Saturday I missed the beach clean up. I had to to somewhere with my parents that day. That night we had a movie night with my softball team. We were supposed to watch "The Family" but during the movie our coach had to go somewhere. We stayed, but got kicked out cause there was no adult with us. Ugh, I got so mad at the lady, I wanted to bring my bat. #StraightThug LOL. Our coaches oldest son called our coach to come back to the theatres. He was really mad at the lady too. For kicking us out. We did nothing wrong. That lady probably drank too much hateorade ;). We got a refund, and tickets to watch "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2". That movie had a message which will me my lesson learned.

My highlight of my week was spending time with my softball team. We bonded a lot. I made a new version of patty cake. When you say "as fast as you can" we actually do it faster. Then when you say "mark it with a..." You combine your first initials together. And when you put it in the oven, you have to poke someone in the stomach with two hands. And take it out by poking them in the stomach again with two hands. We were so hyper cause we had two icee's, popcorn, soda, and candy. Don't sit next to Petriese in the theatres. She will throw popcorn at you. No matter what.

Lesson learned was team work is always the key to success. You can't do things on your own all the time. In the movie, there was a secret message, always work together. It was a good movie for us as a team to watch. We bonded, and made our friendship tighter. The foodimals worked together to stop the evil villain. That's sorta what we have to do as a team. We have to work together to win the game. If we don't work together, we will get no where. Team activities like these will help people get to know each other more. Like in leadership, one person can't do a job alone. They need the help of their group members. If only one person does something, they will make mistakes, and they won't realize it because they will thinks it's the right thing. They need the help from others to realize their mistakes, and to fix it. Teamwork gets things done faster.

7th School Week ;)

Let's see what I remembered about this week... So on Monday we finished the popcorn machine in period four. We worked afterschool sales again. On Tuesday, we did a preview of our all accesses. On Wednesday for period four we blew up balloons for welcome social. We messed up a couple of balloons by putting two papers in side of some balloons. When we were trying to fix the balloons,  two people were just sitting on the side on their phones. They weren't helping us fix the problem. I'm not going to name names. We also did intramurals. Thursday was a normal day (I think). I don't think we did anything too special that day. But it was the last day of flag football intramurals. On Friday, 7th grade class officers passed out the yearbook pictures to the people who purchased. In advisory, I taped a strand of Laila's hair to a strand of my hair. Then I taped a strand of Roxi, Petriese, Jayde, and Sheila's hair the same way I taped Laila's, it was just that it went one after another. I was Rapunzel. But with only one strand of long hair (x LOL. In period four that day we set up the cafe for welcome social. At welcome social we had a water slide, bouncing castle, balloon darts, ring toss and snacks. The ring toss was hard -,-. The balloon darts were really fun. I popped one balloon. That's it. And I got devil ears. After welcome social Petriese, Jah, Alesia, and I went straight to Ohana Fair. I seen most of my old teachers. I also seen a lot of my elementary school friends. They hugged me really hard cause they missed me soo much. I missed them too. There was a game that you could win real livs fish. I wasted five dollars on that game -,- ugh those fish are soo hard to catch smh. My friend Courtney gave me two fishes. I didn't realize that she killed them cause she dropped the cup on the floor. So I dumped the fish down the sewage drain. I said "Go back to the ocean! You're free now!" LOL even though they came from a pet store. Alesia flew flour at my face in the snow storm game. Ohana Fair is one of the things that I always look foward to go to. I never did miss an Ohana Fair. I went to every annual Ohana Fair since Kindergarten.

The highlight of my week was going to Jezrae's birthday party. At Jez's party, Chelsey brought a volleyball. Korey claimed it as her son Billy. I tried kidnapping Billy so I could hide it. I tried everything possible to take the ball away, but Khrizz kept me away from it. Later when Jez was changing in the bathroom, I filled a water bottle with ice from the cooler and water, and poured it on her feet under the stall door (x Jaelyn and I found it funny. I poured water down Chelsey's back. She started freezing after. That's why it was funny. Jezrae's party was one of the best parties that I've ever been to.

Lesson I learned this week was that try to have as much fun as possible cause you only live once. I'm not going to say YOLO. That's just ugh. Like how I did a lot of fu things this week. I'm living my life the fun way. Not the boring way. I'd rather be outgoing and have fun everyday than be shy and do nothing but own 15 cats. That's sound outrageous though. LOL. Well that's the end of my blog! See you guys on Monday!

School Week , Again

This week my period worked afterschool sales. I never got a good picture so I have to use a picture of wrong direction. You'll see why I used that picture later. There was no school on Monday. Well this week we did intramurals on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was really hot outside. Tuesday morning, period four lined the fields. I got spray paint on my fingers that day because I had to spray dots under the cones. It made my nails look pretty LOL. Every morning we had tutoring if we had C's, D's, or F's. It would give you credit if you were on probation. Only if you showed up. I had tutoring because I had 4 C's. I don't get why my teachers give me low grades for things that I missed out when I was absent. They shouldn't have marked it down right? Well it's my fault for being absent anyways. The weathers fault too (x At least tutoring gives me time to correct my work and catch up with everyone else in my classes. I'm trying to get my grades up so I don't have to go to tutoring anymore. On Wednesday, we did intramurals, and afterschool sales again. I can't remember what we did that day. On Thursday, we had to go to a different homeroom and advisory cause Mr.Ing was out for basketball. In my "homeroom for the day" , I went to Mr.Nishimura's. I did the binder checks for his class. He said I was too nice to them, so he said I should be a chihuahua. Tiny and mean. He said if they don't open up their binders for me I should bark at them (yell) . I didn't wanna do that LOL. Period 4 got to have leadership as their period 4. We changed the marque (sp?) When I was on the ladder I was scared cause the ladder was shaking. I changed the letters on one side. When I got down I was relieved that I was finally on the ground. On Friday, it was another regular day. My science teacher got new desks *o*. All classes should have the same desks. One of my top three favorite classes. Thugs have a game on Sunday. I seen Jayde at a party on Saturday!

The highlight of my week was kiking Petriese. One of the things we talked about was that WD is hotter than 1D. She asked "Who's WD?!" I said "Wrong Direction" best girl band ever. Better than one direction. No other band can beat Wrong Direction (x You'll see who Wrong Direction is after this blog. Another thing we talked about was how I should be her lock screen picture. If I was, people would faint everytime they turn on her phone ;) stun people with my good looks. Just kidding, Wrong Direction is hotter that I am. So Wrong Direction should be her lock screen picture.

The lesson I learned was that I should stay caught up with everyone else in my classes. Just so that I don't fall behind with my work. And so I don't get bad grades. I have to be more responsible, and I should pick up my school work when I miss out on a class. Just so I can get it done and I can turn it in next class.
I can do that now, thanks to tutoring.

Quesadilla. You'll only understand if you watched Insidious Chapter Two. I'm paranoid because of that movie. Ugh I don't think I can sleep. .-. Okay finally , I now introduce Wrong Direction
What I do on my free time. I need a life.

5th Week at Ilima

I almost forgot about blogs. Thanks to Alesia for reminding me LOL. Okay this week we worked TV. Mackenzie went on Tuesday , I went on Wednesday , Alesia went on Thursday and Mackenzie and Alesia went on Friday. Everyone said I have a signature pose now (x cause when I said bye , I struck a pose. My wheel teacher made me do it infront of the class. Out of all, TV is the best job. I wanna work TV again. On Thursday, we had to video our day. It's part of our project "Leadership All Access" I had alot of fun during the making of the videos. During classes we had to video ourselves . Of course we got permission. After school that day, I went to Taco Bell and ate with my friends. My friend Barbie (Malia) got me into Cheesy Fiesta Potatoe . I always buy it when I go there. I forgot to mention on Tuesday, Alesia, Chelsey, and I ran to 7-11 after school. Since we had period four as our last period. We ran as fast as we could. I had skinny jeans on it was hard to run in it. We tried to get f'real but we didn't want to wait in a line even though it had only about three people. On Friday, I had to stay in my science teachers class for homeroom and advisory. Mrs. Fujimoto. We had to go to one of our team teachers for homeroom and advisory because Mr. Ing was gonna be out for cross country.

The highlight of my week was doing the videos for All Access. I had fun putting it together and editing it. I like projects like these. I got clips of what I did throughout the day. Afterschool that day, everyone tried getting in the video because they weren't allowed to be in it during school. They would've gotten distracted, and they wouldn't finish their work. I tried keeping the camera away from people. And I accomplished that. People thought I was conceited because I had the camera facing me the whole time (x I hope we get to do another project like that one.

The lesson I learned this week was that you may or may not end up with the people you have in your life today. After you graduate HighSchool, everyone goes their separate ways. You possibly could see them if you bump into them at the mall or something. But mostly likely not. I learned this when I was in Mrs.Fujimotos advisory. True friends will stay with you till the end. Fake friends won't get a glimpse of you when your older. Make friends with people that you know will stay your friend forever. Not someone who will use you and pretend to be your friend, because at the end they might turn on you or keep using your weaknesses against you. I try to stick with the same friends. I try to stay away from getting into arguments with them. Just so that our friendship won't be ruined. Hopefully when I graduate, ill find my true friends. The friends that will always be there for me no matter what happens. My softball friends are some of my friends that understand me. Our team is like a family. One person loses, we all lose as a team. Some people got cut out of the picture

4th Week

I've been sick for almost the whole week . That kept me from going to school for the last three days . So this blog might be short . Monday 4A worked Id's . We did a couple of new people . But the rest of the day was just normal . On Tuesday , we started ISA dance . Right before the dance practice , we ate at Burger King . After Petriese and I had to run back to school . Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I was absent because I was sick . I wanted to get f'real , but the line was sooooooo long ! I didn't want to wait in that long line just for a drink . On the days that I was absent . I did nothing but stay home play with my niece , watch tv , eat and sleep . Everything is boring without school . I don't like staying home from school . But I had to so I don't get anyone else sick . I went to one softball practice just cause it was gonna be short and my parents wanted to see me practice . Id rather go to school than practice cause I don't have to run at school (x .

My highlight of the week was ISA dance practice . It was really fun . I got hit in the head by the girl that was standing next to me . The choreographer knows my brother . We learned a couple of dance moves . I finally got to do whacking again . I missed dancing at hype . But I rejoined again . I was familiar with the types of dances we were taught . It wasn't too hard . I hope we win the competition .

The lesson I learned was to stay healthy . If you don't you can get sick easily . Like how I did . It kept me from going to school . I probably missed alot . Ugh , I wish I never got sick so I could go to school . Now I'm going to have to catch up with everyone else ! But I know I'll get there . Ill try to not stay by sick people . They're just gonna spread their sickness to me . Like how my friend Amber was sick . I stood by her and I guess I got sick from her . Oh well I'll come to school so I don't miss out anything . That's the end of my blog :)

3rd Week of School

Hey guys ! This week was really really fun for me . First off , we did morning music . Which involved us in getting to school early and on time . When we played a song that Khrizz liked , she would come into A102 and start dancing . That was really funny . Tuesday was nothing special , just a regular day . On Wednesday we had yearbook picture taking , committee meeting , leadership reunion , and open house . It was a really busy day for me . I was at Ilima for about 13 hours ! 7 am - 8 pm . For period 4 we went down to the cafeteria to work the yearbook picture taking . We would get classes in the alphabetical order if they weren't already , and we would bring them to the line to take their photos . After school , I had a AR committee meeting . It was about two hours . They were saying things that I couldn't even understand , so I would have to ask what they were saying meant or what it was for . It was basically about AR . That's what it's called ... After that meeting , it was the leadership reunion . Most of the former leadership students were there . They shared their ticket , and the seniors shared their moments from leadership back then . Their stories were funny . I met another Cheana . Her name is Shayna . Same pronunciation , different spelling . After the reunion we had an open house . At the open house , our parents were able to get to know our teachers . So they're more familiar with them , and how they are teaching us . My parents thought that Cornell notes were interesting . That ended at 8:30 . Thursday was a normal day . But after school Petriese and I waited for Alesia to finish cross country . So we made paper airplanes and flew it . LOL . We went to seven eleven to get food . We had a hard time opening a101 doors . We tried each key , but none worked . So we went back 5 minutes after and tried again . This time it worked -,-

My highlight of my week was the leadership reunion . At the leadership reunion we didn't know most people cause they were in HighSchool . But their stories were really funny and cool . Their stories were really interesting too ! We had subway sandwiches and drinks . That day the former leadership students shared memories from when they were in leadership or from when they were students at Ilima . We took pictures after . Surprisingly there was only one junior who got invited . I think she's a junior . I can't really tell what the order of the grades are . Freshman , sophomore , junior , senior ? Anyways after the reunion was over , some stayed for the open house after .

I learned that my generation wasn't the only ones that made mistakes . Most of the mistakes are careless mistakes There were other generations that made some of the same mistakes . Everyone makes mistakes . If you make a mistake , it's okay . Learn from it , move on , and don't repeat it . If you do repeat that mistake , it's a habit for you . It's not mistakes anymore . It's just a terrible habit . Move on . Don't let the past affect you now . Pretend it never happened . No one is so perfect that they won't make any mistakes . The former students shared a little of their mistakes in their stories . Some people just didn't notice it . So it's okay to make mistakes , as long as you don't repeat it .

My second week of school

The days in intermediate are getting easier for me now . Rotating periods are much easier . This week was also the same as the week before . We did lunch music . But one day we forgot to pickup the iPod . We need to learn to pic up the iPod earlier though . On Wednesday we had class elections . I was running for secretary against Alesia . I was really nervous cause we didn't know who people voted for . But that day I hoped that Alesia would still be my friend if I won or if she won . The next day , they announced who won . "Petriese Peralta for president , Jahlyssa De Francia for Vice President , CHEANA ALFECHE FOR SECRETARY , and Jezerae Balinbin for treasurer . I was so relieved when I won secretary . I sorta felt bad for Alesia because she's my bestfriend . But anyways I was glad I won . The week was four days . It was a holiday on Friday that's why .

My highlight of the week was winning secretary . I was really relieved . My friends wanted to see who would win , because they said me an Alesia had an equal chance of winning . Most people think it was about popularity . But it isn't about that . The suspense on the days before were really getting on my nerves . I just wanted to know who won right away . I never expected to win .

I learned that if you compete against your bestfriend , just remember you will always remain as bestfriends no matter what . Just because you lose to your bestfriend it doesn't mean that you can just turn on them and say things that arnet true just so you can get revenge . It's not like that . If you lose , just forget about it . Don't make a big deal over it . Move on . That was my week .

When I'm with my friends I speak in a normal volume . I don't scream , or shout  . I may whisper sometimes so we could tell one other a secret . But I don't always whisper . When I share infront of a class , I try to project my voice loud enough just so that everyone can hear . If I share to a big audience without a microphone , I will have to shout . Just so they can hear . My voice changes when either the room gets bigger , or if the amount of the audience increases .

Five Important Lessons

1. Cleaning Lady .
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ? Mr.Ing is reading this to us because he's trying to say that we should get to know every person that we work with . We should get to know them even though we may dislike them , they are a lower level than you are . Everyone is equal . You should get to know each and everyone of your peers . You never know when they might play an important part in your life .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
In leadership , we work with everyone in the program . So we should get to know all of our friends . If we can't cooperate with our peers , we won't be able to get the job done . If the job isn't done , we wouldn't have any progress . One person can't do the job alone . If they do a job alone , they could mess up because there won't be anyone to realize your mistake .
Lesson Learned
I learned that with everyone you meet throughout your life , you should remember them , never forget . Everyone who was in your life played an important role that you never knew about . So never forget the ones you meet .

2. Pick Up in the Rain
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
He is reading this to us because he's trying to say to help people even when you least expect it . You could be remembered , or rewarded for your kindness . You don't need to worry about what the situation is , just think about helping people . If you decide not to help someone , you never know if it was for something important .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
In leadership we help different kinds of people . We try to help them all at once so their needs are fulfilled . No matter what the situation is , we still help them . Leadership is about helping others out , and setting great examples . If others see that we are helping people they might as well choose to help others too . That's a good thing , because everyone will change .
Lesson Learned
I learned to help everyone who needs it . Still help people throughout your life , you might need help too . How would you feel if no one decided to help you ? So help people when you get the chance to .

3. Always remember those who serve .
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
He is reading this to us because he is trying to tell us that giving to others is better than recieving . Like the little boy , he would've gotten the 50 cent sundae , but he wouldn't have enough to leave a tip . So he decided to get the 35 cent ice cream . He gave the lady at least 15 cents tip . That's was about the price of 3 dollars now .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
In leadership there will be times where someone will give you something , and you will feel like giving something to them in return . You don't want to be given something and not returning the favor . What if you gave someone something ? And they never gave you something in return ? It would be really unkind of that person .
Lesson Learned
I learned that it's better to give than receive . If you give more than you recieve , it shows that you're really kind .
Being kind shows that you really care for others . Like the little boy , he wanted to be kind and leave a tip . Not like other people where they just pay the bill and leave . The little boy took the time to leave a tip for the waitress .

4. The Obstacle in our Path
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us because he is trying to say that we should do good deeds . It may seem rough , but it will benefit everyone around you . It will make it easier .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
If you do something that seems tough to others , you are showing a good example  . They will learn to not ignore the obstacles , but try to pass that obstacle . That's being a leader , that is what leadership is also about .
Lesson Learned
Doing good deeds will help you earn a reward . But don't just do good things to get a reward , do it to save things and people around you . The man who moved the boulder made it easier for others to continue on the path . He got rewarded for doing that good deed .

5. Giving When it Counts
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us because he is trying to say that we should sacrifice for others . Like the little boy sacrificed his life just so his sister would live . If he didn't give his blood , his sister would've died . She would've died because no one helped her . But at least the little boy died helping someone . I'd rather die saving a life then die because I wasn't helped .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
This has to do with leadership because we have to sacrifice alot , but not our lives . We have to sacrifice class time to help people . We get to class a few minutes late because we've been helping people . But it's okay , because we were helping people for a good reason .
Lesson Learned
I learned that sacrificing is a way to help people . If your sacrifice your shoes just so that your friend isn't the only one shoeless that is helping your friend feel comfortable . It may seem weird but atleast your friend knows they arnt the only one without shoes .

These are the five life lessons that Mr.Ing taught us .

First week of school at Ilima

This week was a really great week . I met new friends . And reunited with some of my old friends . On Monday we started school for the 7th graders . I tried to make as much friends as possible . On Tuesday it was school for the 8th graders . On Wednesday , everyone went to school together . It was a little scary because I didn't know most of them . But I made friends with some of them . Most of them are really nice and funny ! I'm glad I'm in intermediate . I got lost on my way to some classes . One time I ended up in B building ! That's all the eighth graders . I freaked out a little . But I found my way to class . I like rotating classes . I was used to staying in one class , but now I'm doing something new (: My favorite teachers are Mr.Ing , Mrs.Fujimoto , and Mr.Nishimura . They're really nice . Period four worked on music . 4B did morning and recess music , 4A did lunch music . On Friday we had a meeting for 7th grade council . I'm running for secretary . I hope I win .

The highlight of my week was making new friends . I probably made 10+ friends . Most of them said they're voting me for Secretary . I hope to make even more friends next week ! I'm in team 7-3 . Most of the people in my team are really friendly . I met alot of people . I tried making friends with most of them . In the morning and at recess I try introducing myself to other people . I'm doing pretty well on that . I want to have alot of friends in intermediate . Not just the people I already knew .

I learned that meeting new people is really great . It helps you have more friends , so you're not lonely in the future . I just don't want to have only one friend . I need friends that will stick by my side for a long time . Not friends that will leave in the middle of my journey . Friends that will always trust me . And friends that I can trust . Different types of friends lead you to different types of paths for the future . I hope the friends that I make and meet won't bring me into trouble . I have that one friend who is always by my side .

Last Week of Summer Leadership

Hey guys . This week was really fun for me . In leadership we finished up the rest of the payments . On Monday there was a storm . So it prevented some people from coming .That made things a little hard . But I showed up anyways . On Tuesday we went on a joyride fail (x LOL . We tried looping around ewa . But we went through kapolei -,- and we almost went to Waipahu . Never looping again . On Friday we went to the beach . We bonded and relaxed . I got sunburnt . Not sun kissed . We swam alot . I got buried in the sand . The thing that sucked was sand kept going in my eyes and face .  I love leadership field trips . we always bond and bonding gets me closer to other people . And some of us got interviewed by someone from the news . I can't wait till the next field trip . I love bonding with others . When I bond with people , no one gets left behind .

My highlight of the week was spending time with everyone in leadership . I used goggles and I went underwater all the way to the floor and I grabbed everyone's ankles . Some of them got scared . Maliah and I kept finding rocks that looked just like our fingers . It was creepy . Khrizz , Korey , Laila , and I made a sand village . I made a sandman and two cabins . It eventually got destroyed . I almost got attacked by pigeons . I wanted to go to the wall but everyone went . So I couldn't go . But I had fun playing in the sand . Alesia almost got hit by a guy on a skateboard doing tricks lol .

I learned that you're closer to others than you think . I thought I couldn't trust some people because I didn't know them well . But I learned to trust them . I wouldn't have let them hold up towels while I changed (x . You know who you are .
I gained my trust for them when we bonded at the beach . We didn't notice that we didn't have our phones for about 3 or 4 hours .

Schedule Pick-Up & Week 4

Sorry for the late post ! Internet wasn't working last night , and I went to two different parties , one in the afternoon and one at night at Hale Koa . So I didn't have any time to finish it . Friday July 19 was schedule pick up , my job was to call people that were waiting inline to take their ID pictures . It was tiring cause I had to walk back and forth LOL . But it was fun seeing people from elementary . I had to get their dues receipt and their schedule , so I could tell Mackenzie the first three letters of their last name . If they payed for both dues , I would tell her PD YB . If only one , I would say PD or YB . I don't have any pictures of me working because no one took pictures of me . Only Petriese had pictures even though we worked the same exact job .-.

My week wasn't bad . We all started shifts , the first two days I wasn't able to go to leadership because I had no one to catch bus with in the morning , I was supposed to ride the bus with Alesia but she went to the hospital for her sister and niece . Wednesday we started at 10:00 ? We continued schedule pick up and selling uniforms .

My highlight of the 4th week was working with my period for a certain amount of time . I didn't get to spend time with friends from the other periods , but I spent more time with my period . I got to sell tshirts in A102 . I found out that I can subtract in my head ! *o* . that's weird . But that was my highlight of my week .

The lesson I learned was that everyone has a hidden talent . Some might be able to sing , some might be able to do really weird things . I didn't know I could subtract in my head LOL . I always used a calculator . But I realized the calculator is in my head . And I have a burger pose x)
