Some highlights were that my group got the most dancers. We worked really well together. We got it done on time, whic left us time to keep practicing over and over again. Lowlight was that one period cheated. They messed up period threes dancer count. The thing was that someone in period one told the dancers from the dance team not to dance with periods 3 & 5. When I found out, I was pretty pissed, like forreals. How immature & selfish. I felt bad for period three, my period as well. That was before we performed our dance. I tried doing everything possible just so that my periods dancer count wasn't messed up. I kinda wish that period three got another change to perform and get another count. That was really unfair. That period did it so that they would get the most and they would get the A.
Lesson learned was that cheaters will never prosper. You should never cheat. If people find out about your little cheating, they will begin to be angry with you and dislike you. That's an easy way for you to lose friends. Sometimes, people cheat and it affects innocent people. Always think before you do, you never know if it could backfire. And when you get caught cheating, don't lie, tell the truth and admit to what you've done.
GLO 1; I met glo 1 self directed learner by making sure that I got the moves and I understood the choreography. I also made sure to pay attention and practice with my group when I got the chance to.
GLO 2; I met glo 2 community contributer by helping out my group when they needed it. I also helped by constantly reminding my group to practice.
GLO 3; complex thinker, I was a complex thinker by thinking of new and original moves for us to do. I also helped think of moves for the whole song, after all, it was pretty hard to come up with moves
GLO 4; quality producer, I produced quality by making sure that our dance was clean and there were no errors. Made sure that we could understand the moves easily.
GLO 5; effective communicator, I constantly texted my group members about what to do and to practice the routine. I also communicated with my group to come up with moves for the routine.
GLO 6; I used technology effectively by using my phone to text and remind my group, the laptop to print out our dance steps and to play our song, and we also videoed ourselves dancing to see what errors we made and so we could correct ourselves.
I think the grades should be handed out the way Mr. Ing first said it would. It made us do anything to make sure we got the best grade so we all tried hard. But if it were to be handed out like that, I honestly think that the good grades should be handed out to the people who didn't get the fair grade & the people who actually tried hard. So period 3 & 5 should both get A's, and period one should atleast get a B. It was unfair for period three, so they should be able to get an A too. Period five tried their best to get as much people to dance, so we should get the A too. What period one did was wrong, so I don't think they deserve a higher grade that period three. But if only one group can get an A, B, or C, it should be period 5 getting the A, period 3 getting the B, and period One getting the C, sorry but what they did was wrong.
Steps to our dance;
First we're gonna be clapping to the beat. Next we will be doing high knees for two missions, then we will do shuffle claps, starting by stepping to the right. Next is the lazy monkey, we will be doing this for 16 counts. Then we will be doing swing lock, swing to the right first, for 16 counts. Next is the lipgloss dance, we will start with the right side. Next is high knees again. Then shuffle clap, then lazy monkey, then swing lock, and the lipgloss dance for two times though. We will now be doing stretches. First stretch is cross toe touches. Touching your right foot first. Then we will be doing touch the sky and touch your toes. Starting with touching your toes first. Then we will do shuffle clap again, then lazy monkey, then swing lock and strike a pose for the ending!
Our dance was pretty simple, and easy to follow along to.
