33rd Week of School

This week started off slow, then ended slowly. Period 4A worked the ID machine. On Monday, the periods were odd. 5, 1, 3. In period five, we watched the first half of wall-e. It was about life without producers. In period one, we cooked omlettes. We cracked eggs into ziplock bags, and we shook it. My group added slices of spam into it. Then we cooked it in boiling water. Then we took it out of the ziplock. It was an omlette. It wasn't that bad. In period three, we did a poster. On a real life situation, we had to come up with a solution. My group jotted down lots of ideas. On Tuesday, the periods were even. 6, 2, 4. In period six, we did work on tone. In period two, we had HSA. I didn't even get up to the twentieth question that time. I got up to only question eleven. In period four, I finished printing out my stuff for my display board. When I got home, I finished all of my display board. On Wednesday the periods were odd. In the morning, people were finishing their display boards, even though it was due on Wednesday. I was finished with mine, so I didn't have to worry about it. I stayed at the ID machine the whole time, while the other people in my group kept walking around to finish their board. We eventually had to put all of our boards in A102. So no one could work on it. In period one, we took notes, and we also finished writing down the data sheet. In period three, we shared our ideas. We also made a prototype of our solution. My group was a dome. I worked out all the details, and I was able to defend it whenever people from other groups asked questions. I shut them down easily. The teacher said to take ideas from the questions that they ask that you stumble apon. But I said "we can't, because I shut all of them down". Then my group members were laughing. In period five, we finished watching wall-e. I stayed after school for about six minutes to finish the movie. It was recognition night that night. I got principals list. On Thursday, the periods were even. 2, 4, 6. In period two, we finished our HSA. I got 340. I decreased:(. I had about 360 the last time. In period four, we showed our display boards to Mr. Ing to see what we needed to fix. I didn't need to fix anything. In period six, we did a critical read on the little red riding hood. On Friday, we had to work for career day as hosts. We had to stay in period three for a little while. I was a host for the State Farm insurance lady. I got three packs of candy. In period one, we cooked "Fancy Hotdogs". I brought the pasta and the hot dogs. We had to cook the noodles, fry the hotdogs and made the sauce. It was HORRIBLE!. I was being sarcastic by saying "woah we made the best food in the class". But we got pound cake with pudding and strawberries after. My group failed at making the food. It was a disaster.

Hilight of the week was working career day. My person was Mrs. Frelynn Kahalehili. She was really nice. I learned that she came from Pohakea, Ilima, and Campbell. She was also a cheerleader for Campbell because her dad was a coach there so she and her siblings had to participate in a sport. I got three packs of sour patch kids. I also got a pen. But I lost it. I actually needed that pen. Because there was one time that day where I needed to write down something, but I had no pen or pencil. Her job was pretty interesting, but I still wanna be a nurse or doctor when I grow up. She was really nice. She shared stories of what happened in her office before.

Lesson learned was you shouldn't wait last minute to do anything. Like the display boards, almost everyone was working on their display board the morning it was due. People weren't even done gluing things down. People were even asking me if they could use my pictures to print out. I didn't want to give the picture to them because I wanted them to realize that they should've gotten it done a long time ago. I didn't wait till the morning it was due to finish it. I finished it ahead of time so I wouldn't have to worry about it.
