Crazy Week, not really

On Monday, the periods were even. 2, 4, 6. Period 4 worked afterschool sales and the recess hallway jobs. The hallway jobs take away a lot of our free time. It kills me to just stand there. In period two, we took notes. We also did a review for our quarter final which was on Friday. Then the fire alarm went off when the teacher was going over the answers. I actually just sat there to finish my answer, then I got up. We went down infront of the basketball courts for evacuation. I had to hold up the sign for our classroom since I'm in the front of the line. In period four, we didn't do anything special. Except I ate, well I think I did because I always eat #eatbutnogainweight. In period six, we worked on oral communication. we got to choose our groups and what we wanted to do. Communicate to inform, communicate to persuade, or communicate to entertain. My group chose persuade. And we made a design for a house that we have to persuade Mr. Mitsuda to buy. It's a 500,000 dollar house. Don't worry, it costs a lot because it has a lot of detail & features. We also went to go visit my newborn baby cousin at kapiolani. Her name is Carleigh. Pronounced (Car-Lee). I'm not the only one with a hard to find name. On Tuesday, the periods were odd. In period three, we worked on another project that were doing. We have to make a how-to presentation. Dyllan and I are doing a how-to on organizing your binder. Might seem boring, but we can do it anyways. In period five, I peer reviewed my own book. I gave myself a 40/40 but Mrs. Fujimoto gave me 2 extra points, I don't know why, so my total was 42/40. I finished my coloring. Well I was done coloring, but I colored so lightly & ugly that it bothered me so much that I had to re color by making the color darker. In period one we finished making our pizza! It was hard getting the dough out of the ziploc. We put a lot of flour on the rolling pin and on the counter to roll the dough out. It was the struggle to roll out the dough in a perfect circle. I went backwards and I put the corn meal in the measuring cup before the flour. So we ended up giving our cornmeal to another group. Then we did the flour. We sprayed the pan, sprinkled the corn meal, put the dough on the pan, and put the sauce. We then cooked the mushrooms. We put lots of cheese on it. We put two different kinds of cheese. Mozzarella & Parmesan. We overflowed the pizza with cheese. Then we put the bacon bits on the pizza. Then we put the mushrooms. But there was a suprise. One of my group members didn't pre heat the oven. We had to wait 20 minutes for the pizza to cook. The group next to us had hard pizza. The pizza was like a cracker. And their cheese made a huge bubble & it exploded. We finished twelve minutes before the bell rang. Our pizza was really good!. When I left early for afterschool sales, Mackenzie tried my pizza, Laila, and i think Korey tried my pizza as well. Laila even wanted to come with me to go see if we had anymore pizza. On Wednesday the periods were even. 4, 6, 2. In period four, we did the marquee I think. In period six, we finished up our project. In period two, we studied with eachother for our test. I was partnered with Brandalyn. We were eating M&M's, and I wasn't even studying I was coloring my science project. Since we have no sharpener in Mrs. Gouveias, my colored pencils got dull. But she let me use her sharpener on her desk. No one else is allowed to use that sharpener. So I felt special(x. She actually knew I was working on my science project instead of studying. She didn't care. On Thursday. The periods were odd. 5, 1, 3. In period five we shared our books. I was the only one who did perfect & got two extra points. When Mrs. Fujimoto was talking about our scores, she said no one got perfect scores except one person. And I could hear people whispering my name saying "it's Cheana". So I checked webgrader afterschool, and I did get 42/40. In period one, we worked on another project. We have to make a pizza advertisement. It was hard making a perfect circle. In period three, we worked on our project again. On Friday the periods were odd. 6, 2, 4. In period six, we did a practice presentation. We had to be quiet because in Mrs. Gouveias class next door, they were taking their finals. People had really weird presentations. In period two we took our quarter final. It wasn't that long. It's smart how Mrs. Gouveia gives everyone the same quiz but with different questions. It keeps people from cheating. My questions were kinda hard. It took a while for me to finish. I was kinda hoping the fire alarm would ring. But it didn't, sigh. In period four, we sorta cleaned A102. We put the display boards all in one place, and we put the canned foods on the floor. I then ate again(x. We ran to get Jamba Juice while class was still going on. Since we had afterschool sales, if we went after we finished working, the line would be long, and they would've ran out.

The highlight of my week was making the pizza in Mrs. Kato. I honestly doubted my groups pizza because we didn't do stuff correctly but our pizza acutually turned out to be one out of the two best pizzas in that class period. I never expected the pizza to be that good. It's from scratch too. We know how the pizza was made. What I didn't know was that pizza dough, has honey in it. I never did cook pizza from scratch before. And surprisingly, they don't actually through the dough up to spread it & make it a circle. They roll it until it's perfect. That's hard to do.
Lowlight of the week was when people kept coming late to work. Oh and when I thought I had detention for coming to school late. Why do you get detention for coming late though?. It doesn't make sense.

Lesson learned. Don't doubt yourself. You never know what the outcome might be. Just like how I thought our pizza was a failure. But it turned out to be a success. Also, don't blame anyone for what they didn't do. Like how someone did in my group for Mrs. Kato. They blamed the person that was supposed to pre heat the oven. But he wasn't a chef, so why did he have to pre heat it.
