My second week of school

The days in intermediate are getting easier for me now . Rotating periods are much easier . This week was also the same as the week before . We did lunch music . But one day we forgot to pickup the iPod . We need to learn to pic up the iPod earlier though . On Wednesday we had class elections . I was running for secretary against Alesia . I was really nervous cause we didn't know who people voted for . But that day I hoped that Alesia would still be my friend if I won or if she won . The next day , they announced who won . "Petriese Peralta for president , Jahlyssa De Francia for Vice President , CHEANA ALFECHE FOR SECRETARY , and Jezerae Balinbin for treasurer . I was so relieved when I won secretary . I sorta felt bad for Alesia because she's my bestfriend . But anyways I was glad I won . The week was four days . It was a holiday on Friday that's why .

My highlight of the week was winning secretary . I was really relieved . My friends wanted to see who would win , because they said me an Alesia had an equal chance of winning . Most people think it was about popularity . But it isn't about that . The suspense on the days before were really getting on my nerves . I just wanted to know who won right away . I never expected to win .

I learned that if you compete against your bestfriend , just remember you will always remain as bestfriends no matter what . Just because you lose to your bestfriend it doesn't mean that you can just turn on them and say things that arnet true just so you can get revenge . It's not like that . If you lose , just forget about it . Don't make a big deal over it . Move on . That was my week .

When I'm with my friends I speak in a normal volume . I don't scream , or shout  . I may whisper sometimes so we could tell one other a secret . But I don't always whisper . When I share infront of a class , I try to project my voice loud enough just so that everyone can hear . If I share to a big audience without a microphone , I will have to shout . Just so they can hear . My voice changes when either the room gets bigger , or if the amount of the audience increases .

Five Important Lessons

1. Cleaning Lady .
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ? Mr.Ing is reading this to us because he's trying to say that we should get to know every person that we work with . We should get to know them even though we may dislike them , they are a lower level than you are . Everyone is equal . You should get to know each and everyone of your peers . You never know when they might play an important part in your life .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
In leadership , we work with everyone in the program . So we should get to know all of our friends . If we can't cooperate with our peers , we won't be able to get the job done . If the job isn't done , we wouldn't have any progress . One person can't do the job alone . If they do a job alone , they could mess up because there won't be anyone to realize your mistake .
Lesson Learned
I learned that with everyone you meet throughout your life , you should remember them , never forget . Everyone who was in your life played an important role that you never knew about . So never forget the ones you meet .

2. Pick Up in the Rain
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
He is reading this to us because he's trying to say to help people even when you least expect it . You could be remembered , or rewarded for your kindness . You don't need to worry about what the situation is , just think about helping people . If you decide not to help someone , you never know if it was for something important .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
In leadership we help different kinds of people . We try to help them all at once so their needs are fulfilled . No matter what the situation is , we still help them . Leadership is about helping others out , and setting great examples . If others see that we are helping people they might as well choose to help others too . That's a good thing , because everyone will change .
Lesson Learned
I learned to help everyone who needs it . Still help people throughout your life , you might need help too . How would you feel if no one decided to help you ? So help people when you get the chance to .

3. Always remember those who serve .
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
He is reading this to us because he is trying to tell us that giving to others is better than recieving . Like the little boy , he would've gotten the 50 cent sundae , but he wouldn't have enough to leave a tip . So he decided to get the 35 cent ice cream . He gave the lady at least 15 cents tip . That's was about the price of 3 dollars now .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
In leadership there will be times where someone will give you something , and you will feel like giving something to them in return . You don't want to be given something and not returning the favor . What if you gave someone something ? And they never gave you something in return ? It would be really unkind of that person .
Lesson Learned
I learned that it's better to give than receive . If you give more than you recieve , it shows that you're really kind .
Being kind shows that you really care for others . Like the little boy , he wanted to be kind and leave a tip . Not like other people where they just pay the bill and leave . The little boy took the time to leave a tip for the waitress .

4. The Obstacle in our Path
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us because he is trying to say that we should do good deeds . It may seem rough , but it will benefit everyone around you . It will make it easier .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
If you do something that seems tough to others , you are showing a good example  . They will learn to not ignore the obstacles , but try to pass that obstacle . That's being a leader , that is what leadership is also about .
Lesson Learned
Doing good deeds will help you earn a reward . But don't just do good things to get a reward , do it to save things and people around you . The man who moved the boulder made it easier for others to continue on the path . He got rewarded for doing that good deed .

5. Giving When it Counts
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us ?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us because he is trying to say that we should sacrifice for others . Like the little boy sacrificed his life just so his sister would live . If he didn't give his blood , his sister would've died . She would've died because no one helped her . But at least the little boy died helping someone . I'd rather die saving a life then die because I wasn't helped .
What does this have to do with leadership ?
This has to do with leadership because we have to sacrifice alot , but not our lives . We have to sacrifice class time to help people . We get to class a few minutes late because we've been helping people . But it's okay , because we were helping people for a good reason .
Lesson Learned
I learned that sacrificing is a way to help people . If your sacrifice your shoes just so that your friend isn't the only one shoeless that is helping your friend feel comfortable . It may seem weird but atleast your friend knows they arnt the only one without shoes .

These are the five life lessons that Mr.Ing taught us .
