Yaaaay! Thirty weeks of school. Why do I sound happy about it? Cause three is my favorite number! LOL. Anyways, on Monday, period 4 worked afterschool sales. We also had afterschool orientation practice. The periods were odd. In period three, we started working on our final drafts for our debate. In period five, we had a mini test. I got 28 out of 28. It was actually hard. Although she said she made it simple. We had orientation practice in advisory. In period one, we came up with our group names. My group is group six, we have six people in our group. So our group name is "Sweet Six" the names had to be kitchen/food related. We were gonna be "Sushi Six" but naah. We're the only group with six people. It took us a while to decide on the name. On Tuesday, the periods were even. 4, 6, 2. It was also April fools. So I tried not to belive anything. In period four We worked on the choreo and changed minor things. In period six, we took notes on tone.
We had orientation practice in advisory. In period two, someone put a fake cockroach on our teachers laptop. She didn't even see it! When she seen it all she did was say "oh cute". Then I'm like "whaaaat?!". On Wednesday, periods were odd. 5, 1, 3. In period five, we worked on alleles. Like how would white and brown mice survive in a certain habitat. Eaten by a predator, catch a disease, contrast with the floor, or survive. In period one, we worked on the group names again. Like our own names. We had orientation practice in advisory. In period three, we talked about the rubric. Afterschool, Jahlyssa and I walked to Starbucks. Then we stopped by chelseys house. We ended up staying there for a while. We played volley ball, threw tennis balls, and had a mini photoshoot. On Thursday, periods were even. 6, 2, 4. In the morning during homeroom, we were supposed to go down to the cafe to practice orientation, we didn't start. That created a problem. In period six, we worked on tones again. In period two, we had a quiz which was really easy!. I learned those things In like third grade. In period four, we went on a tour to see the places we have to go to for orientation. I didn't know that they had an Imu pit near R building. And they also still have the rocks to cook things. And I also didn't know that One of the buildings at Ilima used to be some sort of museum. Really interesting. On Friday the periods were odd. 1, 3, 5. In period one, We walked to where the class was supposed to be, but Mrs. Kato wasn't even there. So a security guard said to go to Mr. Celebres class. We spent the period in his class. My friend had gum, I asked for a piece, then Mr. Célèbre seen, and asked for one too! It was actually funny. Then we had a debate about if social media is good or not. He let us chew gum in class. In period three we had a rehearsal for our debate. I had two debates in one day. In period five, we had to copy down vocab words. It took long because I took my time to fold and crease the paper. I have to make everything perfect. Afterschool we had orientation practice. There was also Jamba Juice sales going on. I wanted jamba, but I had to work afterschool sales, then after, the line got really long so I was like "never mind". It was sorta hard changing back stage. I had shoes on and those shoes are the type of shoes that you have to untie and tie to put on. So it was complicating. That night jah and I slept over chelseys house. We watched a video of chelseys boyfriend when he was eight or five. It was hillarious.
Hilight of the week was sleeping over chelseys house. We shared confessions and our deepest secrets. I know that I can trust Jahlyssa and Chelsey. We also drew things. We stayed up watching the videos of chelseys boyfriend from before. I was cracking up so hard I was wheezing and my laugh sounded like I was out of breath. I only laugh like that when something is really funny. We ate subways and KFC when we got to Chelsey house. I had popcorn chicken and potatoe wedges. We also talked about what bothered us.
Lesson learned was that when you get told to do something by a teacher or someone important, you should do it. If you don't, something could happen. Like how Mr. Ing said to go down to the cafeteria and practice, the people who were supposed to start, didn't start. We all got in big trouble for it. But we still practiced orientation during advisory and afterschool. We were told something, we didn't do it, we were asked a question, we didn't answer it. Careless mistakes. I also asked the person who was supposed to start "shouldn't you start?". I remembered asking her that.
