20th Week of School

This week went by really fast! Well maybe because I was absent for half of the week. I had a cold. I didn't go to school on Wednesday or Thursday. I went to school on Tuesday and Friday though. On Tuesday, it was our first day back to school. New semester! My period one, which is an elective changed. I now had home economics instead of keyboarding. My new teacher is Mrs. Kato. She's really nice. Hopefully I could pass her class with an A. My period three is the same, which is social studies. We had a substitute because Ms. Chin just got married. Her new name is Mrs. Tolentino. Period five is still science. We did a temperament test. It took the whole class period. Wednesday and Thursday, I didn't go to school. On Wednesday, it was my niece Caira's second birthday. Though I was absent, I used those two days to finish AR reading since we now have weekly goals. I have to reach 3.7 a week. My goal for points is now 29! So much points!. It went from 18 points to 29! It escalated a lot. On Friday, it was evens. My periods were the same. I had leadership first. Then English. In English, we took a test based on the things they learned on Wednesday. I was absent. But I already knew the the things on the test. I did better than the person I sit by! She got a B, I got an A. She was at school on Wednesday, so I don't know how I got a better grade than her. The next period was math. I had a really short week. So I have barely anything to talk about.

My highlight of my week was celebrating my nieces birthday. It's been two years since I became an Aunty. I'm her favorite Aunty, and her best friend. She always comes to me when she needs me. Even though she's two, she talks a lot, and she always calls my name. I can't believe she's two already. She grew up so fast. I'm just glad that she came to my house to celebrate her second birthday.

Lesson learned was always use your time wisely. With us having weekly goals, we have to use our time wisely, and never waste out time because if we waste our time, we won't be able to read for AR. And if we don't reach our weekly goal, we get on probation for a week. Being on probation means you can't use the computers. Then you can't do AR again! It's gonna make you fail AR for the rest of the quarter. So you have to use your time wisely.
