22nd Week of School

This week went by really fast. On Monday we had no school because it was MLKJ's birthday, which is a holiday. I wonder how old he's supposed to be now?. Anyways, this week period 4A worked ID's. I made a mistake by not skipping the first line on the envelope. I accidentally did it twice. I wasn't used to skipping the first line because i wasn't always the first person to write on the envelope for the week. But this week, i was the person that had to write on the envelope. Now i know to skip the first line. On Tuesday the periods were evens, 4,6,2. On Wednesday the periods were odds 5,1,3. That homeroom, i belive we got a life lesson paper that was passed out, Building your House. On Thursday the periods were evens, 6,2,4. I took an AR test, and i got 10 out of 10. During advisory, Mr. Ing passed out the ISA bowling field trip forms. The seventh graders that were going were Me, Petriese, and Chelsey. On Friday the periods were odds, 1,3,5. We had another ISA bowling fieldtrip. It was my second time going bowling. I improved from the first time I went for bowling. I know what the objective is now that's why x)!. After school Alesia, Petriese, Emi, and I went to Emi's house afterschool. We were planning to have a sleepover. Which we did. When we went into Emi's room, her liuttle brother was pretending that his leg was sore. We kept making him laugh and prove that he was faking by saying outrageous things to him. Alesia pretended that were was water coming out of him, so we checked, but there wasn't any. We made him laugh so hard that when i said "Did your water break?". He actually peed after that. It was hillarious. I can't believe that he actually peed his pants and onto Emi's floor. Later on when we were eating pizza, we were telling scary stories. I told a story about when its the middle of the night and you're watching T.V. and the emergency alert goes off, it could say that someone is watching you. They got scared after that. In the night we were playing a game on the T.V, and all of a sudden, the emergency alert goes off. We automatically get scared because of the scary story i told them. We didn't bother to read the message. We just shut the T.V. off right away. We were so scared.

Highlight of my week was going to Emi's house afterschool on Friday. We had so much fun at her house. We walked to subways and ate, we went to the park and played at the playground, we were throwing this toy on the ceiling and waiting for it to fall, we played "Guess that food", and so much other things. It was actually Emi's first sleepover. We were the people that she spent her first sleep over with. I'm glad that it was us.

Lesson learned was to not get mad about anyones actions, or their privillages. You don't need to worry about what others can and can't do. I also learned that you should do your best in everything. Always put 100% effort in your work. Never less, because you never know who it could affect. It could affect you or others.

Life Lesson - Building your House

Q1; Why is Mr. Ing reading this to us?
A1: He is reading this to us because this is a relevant story to what is going on right now. Some of us are doing things just to be caught up with their own work. Without thinking about others. They are also worrying about things that they don't need to be worrying about.
Q2; What does this have to do with leadership?
A2: It has to do with leadership because we need to realize that we should put others before ourselves. Instead of doing anything just to finish. Being a leadership student, you need to be able to learn how to help others before you help yourself.
Q3; What is the lesson you learned?
A3: I learned that once you do something, there is no turning back. Once its done, its done. We have to think about what we do before we even do it. And we also have to think about what will happen to others, before we think about what will happen to ourselves.

21st Week of School

This week was very hectic. On Monday, period 4A worked morning music. There was also a problem that was created because of the people who was doing faculty and staff yearbook pages. I was in it. On Tuesday, we had a long talk in home room, and advisory. It was because no one was answering Mr. Ings questions. We should've spoke up and answered what he was talking about. And there was a playlist problem. So people had to do extra jobs. Because of those problems, we weren't able to use the computers for anything. Only certain people could use the computer. So only some people finished their AR for the week. There might be a lot of people on probation next week. That's a bad thing because we won't have enough help to work. Hopefully no more problems will happen next week. I hope. We should've came up with a solution so the problem would end sooner. On Wednesday, two projects were due. For social studies and for home economics. I had to do a project on Molokai and Lanai for social studies. And I had to make a collage on what my life was like for home ec. Afterschool, me, petriese, Emi, and chez, went to buy a fish. Petriese and Emi chipped in to buy 10 feeder fish. But the man actually gave them 13! Three extra. But they payed the price of 10. I noticed when petriese put them in a bucket. I counted the fish, and it was 13 fish. Chez and I chipped in to buy a snowflake Chichlid. It was the biggest one in the tank. They're about one to two inches long. So it's not that big. The man said that it will eat any fish that gets put into the same tank, if it's smaller than the fish. So we tried it with the feeder fish. It didn't work. So I was like "That's a rip off!". I was mad, because I was planning on killing petriese and emis fishes with chez and i's fish. Sadly, it didn't kill any fish. On Thursday, it was an even day. On Friday, it was AR opt out. There were some problems with the clothing people were wearing. I opted out. I also took an AR test on Friday. And I got a registration form for NJHS. I am most likely signing up. I had a dentist appointment after school, so I went straight to my dentist after school. And I had softball so I went to softball straight after my dentist. That was my week.

The highlight of my week was the problem. We should've solved it sooner, so it wasn't a problem for other people. Because they weren't allowed to use the computer. Which made them not able to do AR tests. The problem also made people do more work. The playlist problem made certain people do extra work, because the certain people had to work the jobs that the people in the playlist problem had to work. So that actually affected the people that weren't in the problem. I hope that problems will not get bigger throughout the year. Well most of all, I hope there aren't any more problems!. I will try to not to make any more problems.

Lesson learned was that our decisions affect everyone else. We have to be careful of what we do. We have to do what is most convenient for everyone. Not just ourselves. We should think about others before ourselves. Because if we put ourselves before anyone else, that's being selfish. For example, if someone needs extra clothes, but they don't have any at the moment. So they ask to borrow. If one person has clothes that fit the other person, and that same person has another set of clothes that fit a little smaller for themself. The person with two sets of clothes should let the other person use the clothes that fit that other person and not use the clothes that they should've been able to give to the other person. Because that would be selfish. Even though that situation is irrelevant, it's still an example of making it convenient for other people rather than yourself.

This picture was in the pet store. I didn't know they had this room in the back!.

20th Week of School

This week went by really fast! Well maybe because I was absent for half of the week. I had a cold. I didn't go to school on Wednesday or Thursday. I went to school on Tuesday and Friday though. On Tuesday, it was our first day back to school. New semester! My period one, which is an elective changed. I now had home economics instead of keyboarding. My new teacher is Mrs. Kato. She's really nice. Hopefully I could pass her class with an A. My period three is the same, which is social studies. We had a substitute because Ms. Chin just got married. Her new name is Mrs. Tolentino. Period five is still science. We did a temperament test. It took the whole class period. Wednesday and Thursday, I didn't go to school. On Wednesday, it was my niece Caira's second birthday. Though I was absent, I used those two days to finish AR reading since we now have weekly goals. I have to reach 3.7 a week. My goal for points is now 29! So much points!. It went from 18 points to 29! It escalated a lot. On Friday, it was evens. My periods were the same. I had leadership first. Then English. In English, we took a test based on the things they learned on Wednesday. I was absent. But I already knew the the things on the test. I did better than the person I sit by! She got a B, I got an A. She was at school on Wednesday, so I don't know how I got a better grade than her. The next period was math. I had a really short week. So I have barely anything to talk about.

My highlight of my week was celebrating my nieces birthday. It's been two years since I became an Aunty. I'm her favorite Aunty, and her best friend. She always comes to me when she needs me. Even though she's two, she talks a lot, and she always calls my name. I can't believe she's two already. She grew up so fast. I'm just glad that she came to my house to celebrate her second birthday.

Lesson learned was always use your time wisely. With us having weekly goals, we have to use our time wisely, and never waste out time because if we waste our time, we won't be able to read for AR. And if we don't reach our weekly goal, we get on probation for a week. Being on probation means you can't use the computers. Then you can't do AR again! It's gonna make you fail AR for the rest of the quarter. So you have to use your time wisely.
