Basic Days, Basic People

So I have a hard time remembering what I do. I always say that I'm gonna add what I did that day into my blog, but I forget!. So since it's a new week, I'm starting it again, and I'll try to keep doing it. So on Monday, the periods were 1, 3, 5, & 6. In period one, we took our star math test. I think I did really bad. Cause the questions were super hard!!!! So I guessed on whichever was hard. In period three, we presented our "Tips on how to use your planner". My group was doing what to do with the bottom of your planner. We presented. I really need to bring snacks to eat in period three. In period five, we worked on our powerpoints. It's almost due!. It's due on the 5th. That's really soon. I still need to figure out how to do the video essay. And turns out that I already read and took a test on my AR book! I thought it seemed familiar when I read just the first couple words. In period six, it was really boring!. We had to work in big groups ew. I wanted to work with just Zoe and Jasmine, but we had to work in big groups of like seven. No one would stop talking, five people went to the bathroom at the same time, and it was just irritating. The last period of the day doesn't make sense at all. I hate it. Unless it's avid or leadership, then that's fine because we don't really learn anything. (8/25/14 5:40 pm). On Tuesday, the periods were 2, 4, 6, & 5. In period two, we had a note book check and we took notes on heat. Stuff like conduction, convection, radiation, etc. in period four, we did more boring spring board stuff. I hate English. It's so boring. Why learn English if we already speak English -,-. In period six, OMG more boring!. We took notes on something articles something. In advisory, Mr. Ing was talking about how the ID envelope was written, and how someone collected a form when they weren't alowed to. Period five, I mean 21 was my life saver of the day. When it was advisory, I was so glad the school day was over. In period 21, we basically took pictures and stuff. We took pictures with the masks, with the sunglasses. And with the effects. Afterschool, we had a meeting. For LDSC I belive. We talked about what our school did, and plans to do. We had hamburgers and fries. After that we went to go get Jessdabest. There was no line. They still had stuffed strawberries and cookie dough. I got my usual. (8/26/14 7:28 pm). On Wednesday, the periods were odd, 3, 5, 1. In period three, we took notes on how to take cornell notes. We had to get together in our tent groups. Kaylyn, Kyle, and Marc is in m tent group. Kaylyn and I were like really hyper. We were singing love on top out of no where, we were saying that there were bugs on Marc and Kyle's face(x. We were doing so much other things. In period five, we put up the signs for ISA & yearbook. In period one, we worked on our workbook. Ugh, I just remembered we have homework for algebruuuh. Afterschool, we went fishing. My dad caught a huge puffer fish. It was from out out out, in the sea. I kept catching Oama. I caught like four. Almost seven but when I was about to pull in the fish, it let gooo!. I screamt whenever it let go. They thought I got hurt or something. Tiana, Emma and I went to catch crabs whenever we took a break. After that, we went to costco to eat hotdogs. Tiana seen her dad, brother & sister there. So she ended up going home with them. While we were eating, my dad went with tiana to get her stuff in the car. Right when they left, Emma and I went to go look at the snorkels. I got one from Walmart last week, but I seen Emma's one, and it was way better so we returned it. Emma's was from Costco too. So I looked on their website to see if they still had it, because they got it like two or three years ago. So we ran before my dad them got back. We found it! It was in the color I wanted too. Grey and black(;. I have to wait till Friday to get it though :((. I would've gotten it when they returned my other one because they went to costco after, but I had a headache and was throwing up. I was saad. (8/27/14 7:53 pm). On Thursday, the periods were 4, 6, 2. During homeroom, we played Jayde says(x. In period four, we went down to R102 to take our achieve3000 test. I hate taking those tests. Then we went back to the room and watched hungergames. In period six, we took more notes on articles on confederation. all we do in social studies is take notes and watch videos. In period two, we took a short review typa quiz. It was on what we learned so far. Mrs. Fujimotos class is the best class I have on even periods. I'm always focused. In the other classes, the students keep talking and the teachers can't get them under control. It's kinda disrespectful to the teachers. Mr. Chong gets frustrated with us. Ms. Archer tries to get the class to listen but she can't. They show so much disrespect to the new teachers on our team. I feel bad for the teachers. So I told our science teacher cause she knows what to do when the students don't listen. And she was our science teacher from last year too. It makes it hard to learn when the students keep talking. But when I'm in her class the students are quiet and focused. Because they know what will happen when they get too loud. (8/27/14 7:53 pm). On Friday, it was the day of the welcome social so we had to wear our yellows all day. The periods were 5, 1, 3, 4. In period five, we started setting up for the social by putting together the ring toss and balloon darts. In period one, we worked on more algebra stuff. Idk how to explain it but it we rotated for each station. In period three, we worked on more ways on how to take cornell notes and repetitions. In period four, we did boring stuffs. We had to paraphrase standards and stuff. Afterschool, everyone changed into their shorts. We were allowed to use shorts for the welcome social. The welcome social went great. After the welcome social, we went to Manapua man. I went with Tiana, Taylor, and Deriecka. Tiana got on Thursday, so she wanted to go again on Friday. They were out of fried noodles, so we got taco bell instead. Lol, so that was my week. (8/29/14 8:43 pm).

Highlight of my week was the welcome social. It was actually fun this year. A lot of seventh graders came. Not much of the eighth graders though. I worked second shift, and so did Tiana. So we both were running around playing games and stuff. I didn't win anything this year, the games seemed like it became harder for some reason. The bouncer was fun. Jenaya, Julia, Tiana, and I were in the bouncer all at once. And we played a game where you stand at a corner then you run in a circle and whoever slips and falls first loses. It was hard because we had socks on LOL. But that made the game even more fun. Jenaya and Dayna took a lot of pictures of me and Tiana. Cause whenever dayna or Jenaya was taking pictures, Tiana and I were always there. So yeah, I had a lot of fun at the welcome social on Friday(:

Lesson learned was, always be thankful, and grateful for everything that you recieve and have. I just seen a gif, it made me cry & realize that you should be thankful and accept what you get. Because not everything in your life will be perfect. This doesn't link to my week in leadership, but it's a really great lesson that I've learned. It's really sad dude omg. I'm still cryin rnnnn gosh. Lol okaaay, have a great 3 day weekend. (8/29/14 9:03 pm)

Reunion Week

On Monday the periods were 2, 4, 6, 3. Lol idk but like I'm just gonna be basic and start by talking about the periods. In period two, which is sky-ence. In science we learned about the Pangaea puzzle. Pangaea was a hypothesis discovered by Alfred wegener. He thought that all the continents were once joined together. He had all his evidence and shizz, but his hypothesis was rejected by some lamez. Till this day, some people still agree with his hypothesis. I do though!. In period four, we did lame stuff. Spring board dude. In period six, we took more notes that were boring. In period three, that period was fun. We had the penny boat challenge. My group placed second place. I created the boat while everyone was socializing(x. It was in a shape of a triangle since we only got three straws. Our boat held 72 pennies. The winning group held 76 pennies. It was just a couple off!. On Tuesday, the periods were 3, 5, 1, 2. In period three, we had to analyze our data from the penny boat thingy. In period five, we took our star test and borrowed books for AR?. Lol yeah I guess. In period one, we took notes. We also worked on our packets with our partners. In period two, we did stuff about the earths core. Then we had like a little exit pass at the end of class where we had to solve a problem. On wenesday the periods were 4, 6, 2. In period four, we had more boring stuff. In period six, I skipped so we could do the yearbook picture taking. I took my picture too because my class was taking pictures that day. In period two, we worked on a flip tab thingy about the earths layers. The reunion and open house was that day. There was crickets, crying, and straws. People ate crickets, someone's sharing of their ticket made them cry and some of the audience tear up. And most of the people near me used my straws(x. OH AND THERE WAS ALOT OF STALKING BRETMAN!. cough cough Deriecka. Open house was boring. We didn't even have to do anything. On Thursday. The periods were 5, 1, 3. In period five, we worked yearbook. That took forever. Then in period one, we did more work with partners. In period three, we worked on the same thing that we did last avid class. Oh we had a binder check!. I passed. On Friday, the periods were 6, 2, 4, 1. In period six, we worked on primary and secondary sources. In period two, we added the info To our flip tabs. In period four, we did spring board again. I hate spring board. OMG. It sucks. In period one, we learned about all the SMPs. We took notes too. 

Hilight of the week would have to be the reunion. There was smiles, laughs, tears, and familiar faces. I loved how we got to see the people we once were close to again. We had lots of fun. It was fun seeing everyone's ticket in. Especially when they were eating crickets. It looked really gross!. They said it tastes and smells like chicken. I don't believe them.

Lesson learned, don't assume. Because everything you assume, changes things. We once had a lesson on assuming last year. Assume, is made up of three parts. Those three parts make up something. I'm not gonna say, incase mr. Ing is going to use it in a lesson later in the future. So yeah, don't assume, not everything is what it seems like. 

Bio Cube Bloggg

So, this was my second year of doing bio cubes. A bio cube is basically a box, that you cover with like wrapping paper, or construction paper to make it fancy. Then you print out a picture, and type out 5 different topics for each side. Your picture goes on one side. The six sides are, your picture, obstacle, significance, personality, background and quotation. Then, when the cubes were finished, we had to share them infront of the class or our period. I used the same construction paper as I used last year. There were three people who used the same wrapping paper. The point of the bio cube, is to express yourself in all six sides & all different ways. So you should've been creative in decorating then and you should've been different from everyone else. 

Highlight of the bio cube, was creating it obviously. That's the fun part. You get to glue stuff together, and design a box. Although it's hard to find space for it, it is still fun to decorate and design it. I liked it when people did theirs differently from everyone else. Lowlight was that some people had the same idea of decorating their cube. It's always better to be different. 

A way that I could change the bio cube would have to be with the way people designed it. There should've been a list of themes that you could make your bio cube have. Like people should've put more effort into designing their cubes. Instead of just making it ordinary by just putting the same color construction paper for each side. They should have made it represent themselves. 

Lesson learned was that everyone had their own ways in doing things, so you should choose to embrace it. Everyone should be different, not everyone has to be the same. So always, be the outcast, it doesn't matter if people judge you, that's just how you wanna live so you live that way. No one should be able to tell you how to live your live, or do things. 

Glo 1: self directed learner. I was a self directive learner because I chose to be different for everyone else, and I made my cube slightly different from everyone else. And I made sure that I got it done on time, and got all the pictures I needed for this blog. 

Glo 2: community contributor. I made sure that my period knew how to do things. I also offered help for the other students if they needed it, since they were new and it was their first time doing the bio cubes. 

Glo 3: complex thinker. I was a complex thinker because, if a problem happened with the bio cubes, I made sure that I found a way to fix that problem. 

Glo 4: quality producer. Ooh! I love this glo. I was a quality producer because I made sure my cube was of quality. If there was paper coming off of the box, I made sure that it was glued back down. 

Glo 5: effective communicator. Wow almost done. I was an effective communicator by communicating with my group through our group chat to let them know what to do incase they missed out. 

Glo 6: effective user of technology. I met glo 6 by being able to print out my paragraphs for each side. I knew how to work the computer, and I helped the new people align their document when they were typing so that it would fit onto their box perfectly. 

Voices.

When I'm outside, I talk as loud as I need to if i am speaking infront of a crowd. I find ways to project my voice to get the message through to the other people around the area. I use my common sense when it's a big area. 

When I'm inside speaking to my class, I tend to project my voice, just so the person all the way in the back of the room can hear me loud and clear. 

If the area is really big, and there are lots of people, you might need a microphone to get people to hear you. But if there are just some people in the big room, you can just talk loud enough for them to hear you.

My pitch and feeling of my voice changes depending on my mood, audience, or setting. If people don't listen (audience) of we are in a big area (setting), I get angry (mood), so I shout. So it just depends on those three things. 

The week I can't remember(x

On Monday, the periods were 4, 6, 2, 5. In English, we started our spring board books. The book is really nice, but I hate doing springboard!. In period six, we worked on our map of the United States. We have to write the name of each state in the place where they belong and we have to write the capital of each state. I  period two, which is science, we shared our LSA's. Well not everyone shared their LSA's. It was only the people who got chosen by their group. I got chosen, so I had to share. In period five, we changed the marquee. Then when we tried closing it, Emma broke the marquee(x I don't blame her though. It snapped when we tried closing it. So we had to go get Mr. Ing. Then after school, we had to hammer it straight. On Tuesday, Tiana came on TV with me. During the broadcast, after Tiana said something, she turned off the mic. She kept turning off and on. The periods that day were 5, 1, 3 & 4. In period five, we shared our bio cubes. We shared two sides I think. Then Mr. Ing shared a side that really shocked and amazed us. It was so hard to believe. I still think it's fake!. In period one which is algebruhh, we corrected our homework. I got 9/10. That's an A. So I'm satisfied. Then we started on a packet. Which was big. Like omgg. We did couple pages in class, then we had to do the rest for homework. In period 3, avid, we got to get her with our WICOR partners. There were two sides of the room. Mr. C asked a two choice question, then whatever our choice was, we would go to that side of the room. Then we would have to find a partner on that side, and write their name down on the paper. So whenever Mr. C assigns us something, that has to be done in partners, he would say "get together with your W partner" or another letter. Then we worked on a posted about how to be a successful student. In period 4 which was the last period. We played vocabulary Olympics. There were 5 events. Our period got through all five. Ms. Archer said the other period only made it to the second event. When we had the trashketball game, there were only two people who made the white board eraser in. It was Haley and Me!. On Wednesday, the periods were 6, 2 & 4. In period six, we watched videos on statehood. and we learned about primary & secondary sources. In period two, we had a cold read -,- I hate cold reads. In period 4, we worked in groups again. We had to paraphrase a certain quote. Each group was assigned a quote. On Thursday, the periods were 1, 3, 5. In period one, we finished the last page of our pre algebra work book. Then we got an even bigger book! This time it wasn't pre algebra, it was functions. There was a lot of pages, that booklet was thicker than the other. In period 3, we got into our Ohana groups and we had to come up with a slogan. It was hard! But now it's our homework. After school, we went fishing. Mr. Ing was there. That day was really fun. 

Hilight of the week was going fishing on Thursday. We stayed late that day. I wasn't really catching anything. But we played on the beach. My little cousin came that day too. So we went all the way down on the beach and we played in the tide pools. We were catching crabs. And there was this one fish that was on the beach Emma picked it up and threw it into the tide pool. We were gonna put it in the cup. So we were standing in the tide pool trying to catch the fish. Then Emma caught the fish with her hands. We put it in the cup after. Then we went night crabbing. When we got back, there was a hammerhead shark in one of the tide pools. We picked up the hammer head with our hands. It didn't bite us. Lol Emma finally got her dreams to come true. She wanted to see a hammer head shark. We named the shark "Hammahs" LOL. Hopefully when we go back, the shark will still be there.

Lesson learned was don't be scared to do anything unless it involves risking your life. Then you should be scared(x. I don't know any other lessons because I kinda used it all in my seventh grade year. So I guess lesson learned was don't be afraid to do anything. You'll never know if you like it or not, then you might end up doing of over and over again.

First week of school

This week was the start of the 2014-2015 school year. On Monday, the seventh graders first started. There was this one boy who kept calling me "sir" in the hallway. I went to Taco Bell with Lori. When I got back, my baja blast spilled under my desk! I WAS SO SAD AND MAD AT THE WORLD. I wasted like $2.00 something!. After school, my dad took us fishing. Tiana, Emma and I. We had to stop by their houses so they could change into their bathing suits. Cause when my dad puts on the bait and stuff, and sets up the poles, we go crab hunting. And it gets really messy so we wear our bathing suits. I caught a crab that day, and it's still alive to this day, 08/04/14 - 08/09/14. Well it didn't die yet. When it does die, I'm gonna hot glue it. I was using the fishing pole that had the reel. My dad kept catching papio. And Emma, Tiana, and I were aiming for the Oama. There was so much of them! I would have to say that there was more than 100 oamas swimming near us. Our bait was taken away like three seconds after we put it in the water. It was so annoying because I had to keep putting bait on my hook like every five seconds. And everytime I put a new bait, I looped it a lot so it was stronger and stronger. They still took it!. We had so much fun fishing. We always do. Were gonna go again, on Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday, it was my first day of school. I remembered all of my periods by just looking at it twice during the summer. My period one is algebra, period two is science, period three is avid, period four is English, period five is leadership obviously, and period six is social studies. I'm so glad with all the people in my classes. Each period was boring that day. All we did was watch videos that were irritating to be honest. Like omgggggg whyyyyyyyy. On Wednesday, the periods were 1, 3, 5. I was on TV that day. I got homework on the first day! Wtf. Algebra homework, omg. It was easy. Kind of. In period three, we had a group activity. We had to do a quick write. In period five, we shared our bio cubes. We learned and interesting thing about Mr. Ing. We chose to learn about his backGround. Apparently, he got his degree from 7-11. On Thursday, I went on tv again. The periods that day was 2, 4, 6. In period two, we did our first LSA of the year. In period four, we had to sit through a boring long PowerPoint that our teacher put together. She kept talking and talking, and when we started talking she would say "I want total silence". Same hereeee!. Then we had to do a survey about ourselves. In period six, we had to do a quiz on the famous US landmarks. He played a video, then we had to write down the names of the landmark on a piece of paper. I got 10/10 and I've never been to any of those places before. In Friday, school was cancelled because of the hurricane warning. I find it weird that whenever there's a warning for a natural disaster, oahu barely gets any damage, or it doesn't get hit at all. It's like there's a shield over the whole island. Like someone or something is protecting us. I'm thankful for that. 

Highlight of my week was the first day of school. And cause I went on TV. I was so glad that I got to see all the people in my classes. I'm satisfied with the people in my class. I have atleast two people in each class that I'm friends with. So I'm comfortable in the class. The only thing that sucks, is that Chelsey isn't in any of my classes. That's a lowlight. That Chelsey wasn't in any of my classes. I hope this school year, I won't be too distracted because my friends are in my classes. 

Lesson learned wasss, be grateful for everything you get and have. People were sad that they still had school on Thursday. But, be glad that your house isn't being blown off your roof. Be glad that the hurricane didn't really affect us. It's better to be safe than sorry. Okkkk. Lol I'm tired. Gnnighttt 

Bruuuhhh(x

I'm like super tired rn as I'm typing this blog. At 10:46 pm, on Saturday August 3rd. I strained my eyes from playing too much GTA today. I'm like really dizzy): Anywaayss, on Monday, we collected forms & payment again. The planners finally came in on Monday. People who came after the planners arrived got to get their planners when they payed their dues and stuff. The first person to get a planner was Sierra. I know her because she slept over Emma's house before when I did. I think Monday was when we got our field trip forms. I had to check if my group did their blogs and followed everyone on blogger. If they did all of the things they needed to, they recieved a field trip form. Then I had to teach petriese how to count the money and write it on the sheet of paper that we have to fill out. After that, when my mom picked Tiana and I up, we got. Then we stopped by tianas house to drop off her stuff and pick up something. Then my dad took us fishing. Tiana and I spotted the Oama, then we made a bet on whoever catches an Oama first gets a dollar from my dad. The guy that was fishing next to us wanted Oama too to use as live bait on his big pole too. So he said he'll give us a dollar for each Oama we catch(x. I was first to catch an Oama. I didn't get my dollar yet -,-. I caught two. The second one almost got away, but Tiana and I trapped it in a hole with our hands(x. After that, the Oama wasn't caught again. They were only biting the bait, not hooking theirselves. Then we went down to the beach when we were tired of fishing because they weren't biting. We were catching Pablo's, aka sand crabs. I don't know why I started calling them Pablo's for the day(x like when I caught one, I just yelled out "PABLOOOO! NOOO!" then Tiana fell to the floor laughing and she peed her pants a little bc of laughing to hard, oops, tmi(x. On Tuesday, same things happened. It was more of a chill typa day. Like we got to relax for most of the time. I had to work the whole day by myself though. Well not really by myself, but I was the only one who worked all day because Jahlyssa or petriese wasn't there. Tiana and I played hockey on my desk when there was no customers. We used a penny as a puck and paper and a lollipop stick as the hockey stick. I made the goals out of construction paper. Oh and I had to check everyone's blogger to see if they did the stuff they had to like follow people and do their blogs. Then they got field trip forms. I got jessdabest after though, hollaaaa!. When i went, i was like third in line. There was like no line after. But waiting for my bowls took long. I was probably there for like 30 minutes only. The other times that I go,  it takes about an hour. On Wednesday, it was the last day of collecting fees! Yaaaayy. No more getting up early during summer. But, school is next week already:((((. After collecting fees that day, I went to the movies with Tiana, Emma, Chelsey, and Malia. My dad took us to watch the Purge Anarchy. It was waaaaay better than the first purge movie. It had more suspense. It was really scary/creepy. Emma went through the struggle to get money for the movies(x. After the movies we went running around the malls. Emma, Tiana and I went to tilt. I was stuck playing the claw machine game where you can win the pigs with water in it and the other stuff. That game is an easy way for me to burn a hole though my wallet. I told Tiana to hold my wallet and don't give me it when I ask for money. But I asked her for my wallet and she gave it to me. Then I had no money after. I blew it all on that game(x. Emma was throwing the basketball squishy on the floor and laughing like she was on drugs. It was so funny. The worker was staring at her & laughing like "what the heck is this kid smoking"(x. On Thursday, we had our picnic. We went to alamoana beach park. We eAch had to bring 15 snacks for everyone. OH YAA, MY DAD WENT FISHING WITHOUT ME THAT DAY:(((((. My dad took Tiana, Emma and I fishing on Friday though. I caught a pretty big Oama, that swallowed my hook. Fishing that day was really fun. We went crabbing on the beach too. This time, the crabs' names was Senpai. LOLOLOL. Tiana started calling them that. She didn't even know who Senpai was. I had to explain to her who Senpai was. We went really far down on the beach. One time, when Tiana and I was right by the shore line, lookin at beach glass that we thought was fully formed, a wave crashed next to us and got us wet. Luckily my shirt was like a bathing suit. Our phones kinda got wet because they were in our pockets. Emma didn't get wet at all -,-. We caught a lot of crabs. We tried looking for sand turtles. We couldn't find any at all. After, we filmed ourselves on slow motion with my phone. I wanna go fishing again. There's more to say what we did, but I'm lazy to type it all. Tiana and I slept over at Emma's house that night. We were swimming in her pool till about 11:00 at night. BTW EMMA WAS SMOKING LOVE(((x it's an inside joke. She said the towel in the back of my dads truck was her magic carpet. X No Emma's were harmed at all by drugs on that day X. We had a holding our breath contest with rocks that would keep us down. Tiana kept laughing so she lost. Then Emma and I had to challenge. Tiana was watching us. She kept laughing! So it made us laugh, and me fart, tmi. When we were going to sleep, Tiana kept kicking me off the bed in her sleep. LOL. There's more that happened, but again, I strained my eyes before I started typing. Oh did you know that it takes me at least 30 minutes to type up a long blog with my brain thinking and remembering about what happened throughout the week?. 

Hilight of my week was going on that picnic for leadership. I really got to bond with the other girls. Well not really. A few of the girls kept their distance away from me. That's okay I guess. Lowlight!, they kept their distance from me(x LOL. It's funny when I say it in my head. LOLOL I LIKE TO LAUGH AT RANDOM THINGS. Hilights of the week and the field trip was, I played hockey with Tiana. Went fishing with Emma and Tiana. I caught sand crabs with Deriecka. Went rock running with Emma and Tiana. Catching booboo, with Emma and Tiana. Swimming under water with dayna. Grabbing Julia and jenayas feet underwater by myself. Floating with Tiana. Watching people sleep on the bus with I don't know(x. I don't know what I did with Jayde(x. Oh, use her shampoo and conditioner, that's what I did LOL. That day was really really fun. 

Lesson learned was, do not play too much video games or it will strain your eyes and make you diZzy. Frls though. Lol but my real lesson learned was, you have to try a piece of everything to know if you're gonna like something or not. This means that, you have to try to be friends with everyone that you have to work with, to know if you really like them or not. You can't just not wanna be their friend because you don't know them and you think There's something wrong with them, without attempting to be their friend. So try a piece of everyone, before you judge them.
