Stressful 26th Week

On Monday we had no school because it was Presidents' Day. On Tuesday, we had a philosophical chair discussion. We talked about delaying gratification, following rules, and being responsible. Period 4A worked lunch music for the week. We also had to dress out to show the classes what to wear. We ended up not going because we took too long. It was sports day. People went to the bathroom just to change, when they just had to put it over their clothes. I changed right infront of my cubby. On Wednesday, I didn't know that we had a blog due the night before because I didn't check Facebook. We had to turn our clothes inside our in advisory. But we didn't go again. I finished my blog that day. On Thursday it was aloha. We wore hawaii clothes. We didn't go again. On Friday it was military. I left early because I had a doctors appointment. We also had to wait outside of the classroom like normal students. Some people weren't delaying gratification because they sat down and waited. Khrizz, petriese, and I were the only ones that stood up the whole time. We said "were not giving up yet". And I'm glad we didn't give up. I only bent down to grab a book out of my bag. When we were finally told to come in, we took steps foward and back. We took steps foward if we accomplished, and stepped back if we failed to do something. I was behind the starting point.

The Hilight of my week was Friday, during homeroom when we had to step foward and step back. It is the Hilight of my week because it made me realize how behind I was. I should really, really stop procastinating. I need to find ways to overcome it. Right now I'm not being a good leader, and this is leadership, so I should really step up and work harder. I need to make time to finish my work.

The lesson learned was to delay gratification. You always get a better reward if you just wait. Might as well not take the reward that you get immediately. And you don't even need a reward for everything you do. Like how we sat down when Mr. Ing said to "stand outside and wait". Everyone but three sat down. I'm glad I didn't sit down. I was delaying gratification.

On Wednesday.

Delay Gratification, Following Rules, Being Responsible

In homeroom on Tuesday, we had a discussion about three topics. Delay Gratification, following rules, and being responsible. Each of them have a meaning, and a reason why it has to do with leadership. Sometimes it's okay and not okay to follow them.

Delaying gratification, is the the ability to resist the temptation for an immediate reward, and to wait for a later reward. It's okay to not follow it because sometimes you might want your reward right away. You don't always need a reward anyways. It has to do with leadership because most of the time we always get rewarded for what we do. But sometimes we just take the reward instead of waiting for a later/better reward. Delaying gratification, something that we aren't doing. Were just taking the reward that we get right away, instead of waiting for a later one. For yearbook we are way past the deadline. Were just taking the reward that were getting right now, instead of waiting for a better reward.

Being responsible is when you have to take care of what you need to do and get finished. It means turning in your work on time, and doing your work. Not being responsible is okay sometimes because we need a break. We need to get our work done to move on to the next thing. In leadership we aren't being responsible because we aren't getting our work done on time. Like yearbook. We are way past the deadline. And we aren't making time to do it. Were doing work for other classes. We need to sgt work done, and be productive.

Following rules means to follow what is being told to do and to follow it. Following rules is to listen to what is put out for us to follow. Following rules sometimes can be unimportant. It can be not important because sometimes we need to do things our own way, and be creative. But in leadership were putting other classes before leadership. When leadership comes first. We do work for other classes other than leadership.

25th Week of School

Back to a week full of school, track, and softball. Period 4 worked after school sales again. My Monday consisted of track, energy drinks, and flappy bird (x. I drank monster during study hall, and after that, I couldn't keep still. Instead of walking our way back, I was jumping and singing. But the drink tasted good. In period two, math, we had our first half of math HSA. I think I did pretty good. For the first half. I had a swollen eye that morning. I don't think that it was pink eye or anything, I think it was just swollen because I kept rubbing it. Periods were even that day, 6, 2, 4. On Tuesday, we had track practice again. That time we only did a little bit of things. Periods were 1, 3, 5. On Wednesday, we worked afterschool sales again. In track we practiced the baton running. I got lost in the grass again when we were stretching. Mr. Ing took a picture(x. That night was recognition night. After recognition night, I got macarons. I only got red velvet cause I already know which is my favorite macaron flavor. On Thursday, periods were 3, 5, 1. Track practice was fun. A few of us learned how to run, the correct way haha. I only run with my eye squinted because I can't see far! That's why I have glasses. I got lost in the grass even more!. The grass was longer from where I lied down. On Friday, we performed our dances in home room. It also was valentines day. I had no valentine, because no need one. A lot of balloons flew away. I also slept over chelseys house that night. I was laughing so hard because I ate chocolate. We also did TBH videos. And in most of them I was laughing. There was one part where I was laughing then I said "Breathe!". I couldn't stop laughing still!. No more chocolate for me. Maybe.

Highlight of my week was sleeping over chelseys house. We watched conjuring, we talked story, we got Jamba Juice, we drew, we did a lot of things. We also did about 50 to be honest videos. "To be honest, I got tired". We slept on the floor that night. Without a blanket on the floor. We just slept on the plain floor. She thinks the same as I do. Viernes bloodline. And now she's sleeping over my house.

Lesson learned is to always be productive with your time. Never waste a second. Every second counts. In track on Friday, some people didn't make use of the time that they had to work on things, they just stood around. And throughout the week, some people were sitting around doing nothing when they could've been working on banner, and yearbook. We've already passed the deadline. That's why we need to make use of our time.

I forgot when, but in one advisory I was trying to take a picture with Roxi, but all of these people decided to jump in.

24th Week of School

What a week?. On Monday period 4 worked afterschool sales. Periods that day were odds. At night, I spent the whole night reading. I finished reading before I slept which was at 10:00. It only took me an hour to read. On Tuesday, I took an AR test. I got 10 out of 10. I took a test because we had to have 50% before Wednesday because Wednesday was progress report. Practice for softball got cancelled. Periods that day were evens. On Wednesday, progress reports came. I had two B's. The rest were A's. On Thursday there was track practice. I couldn't get my clothes dropped off, so I stayed for study hall, and took pictures. On Friday, we had a sub for science. She was really nice. She barely talked. So we had enough time to finish our work. We had track practice and softball practice. But softball practice got cancelled. So I brought my softball bag for no reason. It was really heavy. In track practice, we did Indian runs. It was tiring. My legs were sore after that. Then we ran 200's eight times. After practice, we stretched. I didn't feel anything because I was used to those stretches. After that, I slept easily. I was so tired. The next day, I could barely move. My legs were stiff. I had a party to go to that night. #ThugLife.

The hilight of my week was track practice. I got closer to some people. And I actually ran harder than I did before. Except at softball practice. Joining track was a good decision for me. It could help me with running bases for softball. And we have a tournament coming up. Track could really help me. I can't wait for the other practices.

Lesson learned was to try your best. Trying your best gets you farthest. You'll always get through easily if you try your best. Like with track, try your best and you'll be done with running. Trying your best will give you the best. Oh my, that rhymes! I hope that's not a quote already, because if it is, credits to whoever came up with it lol.

23rd Week of School

This week flew quickly. On Monday, I went on CCTV. In English, we had our HSA testing. I got up to question twenty. After school on Monday, I went to the beach. On Tuesday, it was Alesia's, birthday. And to celebrate it, we went to genki sushis after school. Petriese was outside the whole time we were eating. On Wednesday, for English we finished our HSA testing. My score was 355. That's one less than the score I got when I was in third grade! The HSA test was reading. I went to the beach after school. On Wednesday night, I read my AR book all in that night. When I went on TV that day, I was stuttering a lot. I don't know why. That morning , I took an AR test. I passed. For science, we had a test. I didn't study. But I got an A!. On Friday, we had period four last. I was working on my homework. After school on Friday, we went to petrieses house. We were planning on sleeping over. We went night riding. We played truth or dare. And there was a wasp flying around in petrieses garage! We kept screaming and running from it. That night, Jahlyssa slept over, but I went home in the night. We made iced coffee. Alesia drank some. And she was super hyper!. Jahlyssa was talking about this girl liking this boy, then Alesia said "that's Cheana's man!", "but Cheana doesn't like him!", "you should like him!". She was so hyper. She had a plastic cup, and she was pretending she was playing a kendama. The cup cracked then I was looking at it, then she snatched it out of my hand and said "MY KENDAMA!". Never give an athletic person coffee. And right now, jahlyssa is going crazy because we gave her iced coffee.

Hilight of my week was going over to petrieses house. We had so much fun. When it was raining, we went outside. We were technically playing in the rain. I can't even name all of the things we did that day. We had too much fun!. Running from the wasp was funny. We screamed so much, Alesia lost her voice the next day. Well part of her voice. A coincidence was that a dare Alesia had that night was to run around petrieses street and yell "Help! I lost my voice! Can you help me find it! Somebody please!". That was pretty hillarious.

Lesson learned was to not give certain people coffee. They go nuts. Jahlyssa drank coffee, she went crazy. Alesia drank coffee, she went crazy. It because they're not used to drinking it, so they go crazy. Petriese and I are used to drinking it, so we don't really go crazy about it. Jahlyssa was laughing at so much stuff. The actual lesson learned was to not do something that you shouldn't do. Like how Alesia and Jahlyssa aren't allowed to be drinking coffee. They drank it anyways. They had a side effect to it. They weren't allowed to drink it for a reason though.
