Last week of 2nd quarter!

Wow this week has finally came & ended. This week was full of movies, and laziness. Since it was the last week, we barely did things in each of my classes. We watched movies, ate candy canes, etc. It was a relaxing kinda week. On Monday, the periods were, 4, 6, 2, 3. In period four, we watched the giver. Watched, not read. Yeah we actually finnally watched the movie. Woah I was about to type "read" the movie LOL. I just wanna finish this blog so I can continue my winter break already omg. In period six, we watched videos and stuff. In period two, idk what we did. I think we just "studied". Oh yea, we did, we made our study guides if we wanted to. In period tree, we used our chrome books. And we idk what we did with our chrome books. Oh we made a presentation, bibliography or whatever. On Tuesday, periods were 5, 1, 3, 2. In periodo five, we did anykine. Lol cause I don't remember what we did. In period one, we finished our test. Well not finish, turned in. In period three, my group didn't get to share the presentation. So YAAAAY for us. We didn't actually finish it. So yaaa. In period two, we watched the blind side. Was a pretty good movie. Afterschool, we went to the airport because my brother was leaving for Texas. He has basic training and school for the military. He's joining the national guard. My mom was crying and I said "why you crying, I'm still here" then my sister said "that's exactly why she's crying" well then -,- that was harsh LOL. On Wednesday, the periods were 6, 2, 4. In period six, we took a test. Wasn't really a test, considering we could use our notes and he let us talk. Wth Mr. Chong. In period two, we took our quarter two test. Yeeeeyaaaa, I think I did pretty good. Wth that was a weird word. Yeee YAAA LOL. We had secret Santa that day! Jah was my secret Santa, she actually got my Lokai bracelet TYSM again JAH JAH love yaaaa. In period four, we finished watching the giver. Me & MAEV were just grinding the snacks we had. We had chips, li hing watermelon slices, brownies, and cookies. We made such a mess LOL. Afterschool, I had dance, I felt like I was gonna pass out in the second class. I didn't bring water. Lesson learned, bring water or somethin. On Thursday, the periods were 1, 3, 5. In period one I could tell I was going to get a migraine. So while everyone was taking notes, I was trying to sleep it off. Trying to get rid of the migraine. But it wouldn't go away. So I went to the health room during recess. And I went home bc I was puking. I didn't go dance that day because my head still kinda hurted. But when I got home I slept it off. On Friday, it was winter fair. Each class was 53 minutes each. The periods were 2, 4, 6, 1. In period two, we finished watching the blind side. In period four, we were just eating and jamming to music because Mr. Winbush was our sub. In period six, we finished our tests. Winter fair was alright. During my breaks, I would go walk around with my friends, and once I went to blr & played ping pong with maevelyn. We wernt even using the table LOL. In period one, we went to go take the practice SBAC test. It was Mrs. Gouveias birthday. At the end of class, she gave us lihing sourbelts. 

Highlight of the week was Friday. Because of winter fair. I didn't spend a penny at winter fair. Momi gave me her leftovers. She gave me her Jamba Juice, and her adobo. The adobo was more like Kalua. Didn't taste like adobo. But it was alright. I took pictures with people. And by people I mean one person, and by one person I mean chris LOL. He asked for a pic loooooong time ago. Finally got to take it on Friday yeee. Aha, playing ping pong in BLR was fun too!. We was just hitting em hard, and didn't use the table. We were just making it bounce off of the floor. Friday was really fun. Won't forget it.

Lesson learned was to be patient with things. "Patience is key" - me. I think. Well I think I made that up. LOL. But patience is really important. We were patient to get our things in. We were patient to take the picture, and it turned out okay. I was patient for my jacket to come in. And I made it through the quarter with my GPA rising back up to 3.8. So I was patient for the quarter to end. Okay bye goodnight, see you guys on the 26th. FINNA spend some couple bills. Haha I sounded lame. K bye.

OMG, It said "retry publish" haaawh, I thought It was published this whole time!

This quarter was great!. I've had ups and downs, smiles, laughters, even more. This quarter was kinda hectic. Lots of things happening. We got our new group member Taven during this quarter. Made up with people. Wow this quarter was amazing. Things happened that changed my life in the littlest ways. I went back to dance, became friends with peTriese and Jahlyssa again. Kinda feels good to have them back as friends. Everything is normal now. I don't have to watch what I do. We had a secret Santa activity recently. We're about to have winter fair. We went bowling, we had ISA, we also went to meetings for LDSC. This quarter was great I guess. Lost friends, gained friends. But that's alright. "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver, and the others gold". My gold friends would have to be my girlsss. Keaho, Ashlyn, Chelsey, and Maevelyn. But I prefer to call them, Keahoeee, Asslyn, Chelsexy, and Mama Maev. #KWAxRNFL yee. Went back to dance. So basically lots of things happened this quarter. My grades have sunken, and risen. Risen at the last minute LOL. Yeah, I tried very hard to maintain my grades at a 3.5 or higher. There was a point hat i didn't care about my grades. The when I realized I didn't want to finish the quarter without a 3.8, I really stepped up my game and got my grades up to a 3.8. 

People have came and left my life. I guess that's alright. Like I've mentioned earlier. I was also an inspiration to some of my friends, about relationships. One of them called it "Billion Dollar Words" hahaha. Didn't think it were that special. Aha, I've helped people with their relationships as well, even though I've never been in a "real" relationship. Okay let's go back to talking about leadership. 

Leadership has gotten a lot better once I became friends with peteiese and Jahlyssa again. They were my best friends, the thought of me losing them before was really devastating to be honest. But when I got them back, felt like nothing has ever happened that could've changed my life. Like my life went back to normal. 

This was the 2nd out of the 4 quarters that I've finished. 2nd quarter is, over. 

Experience of Secret Santa

This year of secret santa, I was very very happy of what I got! Thank you so much Jahylssa :)))). I got the Lokai bracelet that I wanted. Since she read my secret santa blog, she noticed that I said I didn't really want a starbucks card. So she got the Lokai bracelet that I mentioned. As everyone gave their gifts to the person they had to buy for, I gave my gift to Kaylyn. Yeah, I was her secret santa. She asked for pants, so I bought her pants. It was hollister. It was on sale for 18.99. The total came out to 19.89 because of tax. So I included two pennies in her gift box. When it came to my secret santa, it was a big box. I was confused because I didn't ask for anything big. But it was just a small box inside a big box! LOL, clever jah clever. Since Taven wasn't there, someone was most likely not to get a gift. When the list narrowed down to Petriese and Hope without a gift yet. That meant Tiana had to give her gift to her person. She made petriese think she was her secret santa. But Tiana was really Hope's secret santa. So that meant Taven had petriese. HAHAHAHA IT WAS SO FUNNY OMG. Must suck to be petriese!. Sorryyyy giiirl. I don't know where taven really is. But the food was good. I ate crispy 'gauge' and pizza, and a musubi. The next day, petriese didn't come to school, she even said she wasn't on twitter. Then I replied and said "What if taven comes to school?". Then he did come to school! HAHAHA. I took a picture of him at his desk and sent it to petriese. Also, I think townsville might be in danger. Because two of the powerpuff girls weren't there. Only one, which was jayde.

Okay highlights. Highlights would be that I got a lokai bracelet!!!!. Still, thank you so much jahlyssa. Best secret santa gift evvaaaaaa. So glad I didn't get a giftcard as I did last year. Another highlight would be the good food. Another highlight is that we shared lots of laughs that day, in terms of petriese being the one not getting a gift LOL. But thats also a lowlight, the fact that someone didnt get a gift while everyone else got a gift. Thats unfair to be honest. I would've been really mad if that happened to me. Like why participate if you're not even going to be ther???????????.

Lesson learned, the lesson that i learned from this activity was to make sure you're there. We all knew when the secret santa activity was going to occur. So we should have showed up if we were participating. Even the people that weren't participating showed up!. So yeah, lesson learned was to always write down important things in your planner when told. Your planner could be your life saver. Tells you whats coming up. Lets you be prepared for upcoming events.

Talent Strips

So we had a project to do. It was called Talent Strips. Not to long ago, were were given three strips of colored paper. We had to write a talent on each of our three strips, explain it, explain how it can help the leadership class, and how you got that talent. My three talents were Delaying gratification, confidence, and creativity. We then had to do a powerpoint and a video to go along with it. We had to explain the talents again, and include a video of one the talent that we didn't get to share with the class. We had to demonstrate the talent as well. I demonstrated Delaying Gratification. Deriecka, Jayde, and Taven, were in my little video. It was just of Taven scolding Jayde and deriecka for not standing up like Taven told us to. And I was standing up. It was fun doing this activity. We learned some talents that we thought didnt even exist. I honestly thought it was about the talents like dancing, or singing, all those basic talents. But nooo, turns out it was talents like how we can do our work.

Highlights of this project would have the be when we made our videos and shared our projects. Not so much about making the talent strips. Coming up with talents were kinda difficult to do, lowlight aayyy. Well back to my highlights, I liked sharing our talents. With one of my talents, which was confidence, I had to be confident like what I wrote on my talent strip. And the video was fun. I got to help others with their demonstration as well. So that's what I liked about the video. 

Lesson learned was that you have many talents, you just don't realize them until someone points them out. I didn't realize that delaying gratification was one of my talents until I actually delayed gratification in 7th grade. So yeaaa, you don't realize your talents until you actually do it, or someone points it out for you.

This week, we wore our new yellow collards a lot. On Tuesday, because of flu shot clinic, Wednesday because of sign waving in the morning, and Friday because of bowling. On Monday, the periods were 5, 1, 3, 6. In period five, we worked on our projects. We worked TV, lunch music, and Afterschool sales that week. In period one, we studied for a test. That we were going to start on on Wednesday. That's all we did that class, just study. In period three, Mr. Clark came and he did another presentation. In period six, we worked on our project. On Tuesday, the periods were 6, 2, 4, 5. In period six, we watched videos and took notes. In period two, we did the telephone cup activity. We got to test the cups after we made them. In period four, we finished reading the giver, and we worked on our essay draft. In period five, we worked on our projects. On Wednesday, the periods were 1, 3, 5. In period one, we did our test. I didn't finish. I fell asleep for like 10 minutes because I was tired. In period three, we worked with our chrome books. It was just a catch up day, so we didn't do much. Just did work from AVID or other classes. In period five, we worked on our projects again. Afterschool, I had dance. I had two classes, an hour each. 4:30-6:30. That day, I take street/hip hop. On Thursday, the periods were 2, 4, 6. In period 2, we did this activity where we made a thingy that you can see what the light is made up of. I forgot that it's called, but it's really cool. We got to make it out of paper, cd, and tape. In period four, we finished our essay drafts. In period six, we were just fooling around. We didn't do much, we weren't productive. Afterschool I had jazz/ballet. Me & Keya were in pain because we couldn't do the spiltS LOL. Jaena came up to me and hugged me in the beginning of class, and some random girl hugged me too. I didn't even know who that girl was she just hugged me LOL. On Friday, we went bowling. I placed first place for the average 8th grade girls score in the first round. I was pretty surprised. I actually hit the white thingys! LOL jk, I know what it's called. Deriecka cried because she got a strike omg.  I watched her throw the ball, then when she got the strike her eyes started tearing up LOLOL. It was so funny. Then after she made like she was the master of bowling. We got back to school right when 1st period ended. The periods were 3, 5, 1, 4. In period four, I took an AR test. I passed, HALLELUJIAH. Finished AR for the quarter. My points is 15.1 currently, I only needed 15. So I passed by .1 LOL. So YA pretty g pretty g. 

Highlight of the week was bowling and avid on Monday, only cause we took pics. But bowing mostly because I didd pretty good. But then I was like failing towards the end. I was getting worse and worse every round. I guess it was cause I was rushing to go and eat my food. I hope I go bowling again. 

Lesson learned was, not to give up. I did several things this week that requires for me not to give up. Such as bowling, playing my games, etc. giving up shows your weak spots. Don't let people see your weak spots or they could use it against you anywhere. Don't let anything stop you. Be confident, be... Brave.

What a Wonderful Week

Lolol I keep going on and off with the whole adding a part to my blog everyday. Going back at it today. On Monday, the periods were 6, 2, 4, 3. In period 6, we took notes on a video about Thomas Jefferson & Sacagewea & Lewis & Clark. In period two, we took notes about mechanical waves. In period four, we read the giver, and worked on this packet. In period three, we worked on our chrome books and had a phisilophical chairs debate. It was on wether using smartphones are harmful or not. Afterschool, I went to go pick up forms for my dance studio. I always take breaks then go back. Like when I first joined, I did a concert with them, then I took a break. Then I joined again, and did a concert. Then I took a break, and finally I'm joining again. The total of years that I've been actually dancing adds up to six years. Then I watched the movie the giver at home. It was a pretty good movie. (12/1/14 8:52 pm). On Tuesday, the periods were 1, 3, 5, 2. In period one, we worked on our workbooks. Then I stayed in during recess to finish a page in my algebra book so I wouldn't have to stay in during lunch. Mrs. Gouveia gave us muffins! I was surprised LOL. Seems unusual. I got a blueberry muffin. It's the Kine from Costco, so it's hugeeee. In period three, we worked on our chrome books. We did revisions to our smartphone essay. In period five, we worked on our talent strip project. I'm actually almost done. I just gotta take a video. In advisory, we had a homeroom rep meeting. In period two, we watched a video on a tsunami, & earthquake in Japan. Then we did deconstructing the standard. Then we were looking at articles on if it was safe to eat fish from Japan, since this power plant or whatever blew up during a tsunami, so the waters became contaminated. Afterschool, I went to BK with ashlyn. (12/2/14 5:50 pm). On Wednesday, the periods were 2, 4, 6. In period two, we had a sub. We took notes on somethin about electromagnetic waves & stuff. In period four, we read the giver like we always do. In period six, we worked on a projects about thomas jeffresons tombstone. (12/3/14 7:31 pm). On Thursday, the periods were 3, 5, 1. In period three, we turned in our webgrader reports, and worked with our chrome books again. In period five, we decorated the Christmas tree, and kinda the room. In period one, we worked on our algebra books. We corrected our homework that was like 5 pages long. Afterschool, I forget what we did LOL. (12/4/14 6:58 pm). On Friday, I kept forgetting it was Friday omg. Like in my classes that day I would just randomly say "omg it's Friday?!" Then people would be surprised too 😂😂😂. There was an Avid and Stem field trip that day. Kinda weird how it was on the same day. Two different field trips though. The periods were 4, 6, 2, 1. In period four, we worked on our embedded assessment & stuff. And read the giver. In period six, we worked on our project. My partner had the paper & she was on the field trip so it was complicated. In period two, we had a quiz and we had a choice of keeping it if it was good or throwing it away if it was bad. I ended up throwing mines away because I got two wrong. Then we worked on the telephone cup experiment. In period one, we had a quiz which was really easy. It seemed like go math stuff. It was like the easiest thing ive ever done. Afterschool, I went to Burger King with keaho, maev, and Chels. We ate Icecream and French fries. (12/5/14 7:29 pm)

Highlight of my week would be going to Taco Bell with my friends. We always go there but it's always fun & entertaining. KEAHOS laugh is hillarious omf. And we do the weirdest things together. And they always make my day. So since I spent most of the week with them, my whole week was great. That's why spending time with them is my highlight. I got no lowlights. 

Lesson learned was to surround yourself with people you love, trust, and are comfortable with. I love these girls so much, they're like family. We can always tease eachother and say mean things but we never get offended by it because we just love to play around. Spending time with them is like a happy thing for me to do. We could get on eachothers nerves, push eachother around, laugh at eachother, and so much more, it will basically make our bond tighter. Anything we do together will just drive us closer together, not farther away.

Very Short Week

This week was only three days long due to thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday. So we only had Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, of school. For the three days, my group worked ID's. I never did work morning because I was constantly late, so I had to work recess every day. I was being very irresponsible by not waking early enough to fufill the mornings when I had to work. On Monday, the periods were 3, 5, 1, 4. In period three we worked with our chrome books again. Then for homework we had to do a TRF. I hate TRF's. In period five, we sent Taven up the ladder to do marquee. Then we just did whatever. In period one, we worked on our booklets. Then for homework we had this one worksheet. In period four, we read the giver. On Tuesday, the periods were 4, 6, 2, 5. During homeroom, we shared our talent strips. In period four, we read the giver again. Kayla was eating chicken in class omg it was so funny. Then Ms. Archer made me read pages of the book. Maevelyn kept laughing so then I stared laughing while I was reading. I pushed her once to make her stop but then she just kept laughing. So I turned the other way. Then the only thing I could hear was her laughing HAHAHA. So I couldn't resist. In period six, we took notes. In period two, we took notes on waves. I like what we're focusing on right now in science because it involves the ocean. Pretty interesting. We're finally learning about something I'm interested in. In period five, we did the marquee again because Taven spelt school wrong. He spelt it as "scool" without the H. LOL, it's alright though, it was his first time going up. On Wednesday, during period five, deriecka and I were taking pictures for our blogger. And some for fun. Then we put them into the computer. During period one, we turned in our homework. I got a C on it OMG! I spent literally three hours on that. I made sure everything was correct. I believed in myself that I could do it and get it right. And it was right but I got a C! WTF OMG. Yeah, Mrs. Gouveia is totally my favorite teacher -,-. I PUT ALL OF MY EFORT INTO IT HOW DID I GET A C?! I cannot rn UGH so irkatated. In period three, we shared our TRF's. Then we finished our CFA's. On Thursday, we went to a thanksgiving lunch at my uncles house. Then my parents and I went to Walmart for Black Friday dealssss. Then on Friday, we went to pearlridge and bought a new stove. Then I got to buy stuff from T&C. I bought a shirt, stickers, and board wax. 

Highlight of my week was sharing our talent strips. I honestly thought that the talents we were meant to write on them were talents like dancing, singing, and stuff like that. But no, it was about abilities, what we were able to do. My talents were, my creativity, my confidence, and my ablity to delay gratification. I learned a lot of things that this class was capable of. Some I didn't even know we're a talent. But hey, you learn something new everyday. Lowlight, would have to be that I didn't get an A on my algebra homework!!!! I always say "A for effort" why didn't she give me an A!!!!! I totally went Albert Einstein on my paper, like I was writing a theory or somehing. There was work all over my paper. But nooooo, I got a C! For what?! I proved my work right?! Okay done ranting about my algebra hw. 

Lesson learned was that you have to take responsibility and be responsible. I haven't been showing up early to my daily jobs as I had to. I've been coming late. I know it's wrong. I've been trying to come early, but somehow, I couldn't. I can't wake up when my alarm sounds. I'm gonna try to sleep early, and wake up early. If you sleep early, you wake up early. You go to sleep late, you wake up late. So I must be the responsible person I have to be and be responsible. Idk if that makes sense LOL. Okay I'm done talking.

Grow Up

On Monday, the periods were 4, 6, 2, 1. My group was doing TV, Lunch Music, and Afterschool Sales this week. Jayde and I went on TV. In period four, we worked bookfair. But turns out there were no classes during period four. So we got sent back to class. But I stayed a while just to finish my science essay that was due. I started on it the night before but I eventually fell asleep doing it because it was boring. In period six, I worked book fair. I stayed the whole period. I forgot who I worked with LOL. In period two, we got a lecture about responsibility, eh it's not unusual. I didn't do the outline for my essay because I couldn't find it. Therefore, I thought I lost it. But when that was all over, I found it in a pile of papers while I was cleaning my desk trays oml. In period one, we did a practice CFA. Our teacher isn't gonna be there the next day, so we're going to have a sub. And afterschool that day, I think we went to Taco Bell. On Tuesday, the periods were 5, 1, 3, 6. In period five, we worked the bookfair. That's al owe did. Bookfair is boring sometimes omg. But it does feel good to be in the AC for 76 minutes. In period one, we had a sub. His name is Kendale Winbush. Not Kendall, Ken Dale. He's really funny & chill. He was playing music while we were doing our CFA, he let us eat, and other things. Lol I hope we have him as our sub more often. UGH OMG IM SO MAD! THE ONLY THING THAT SAVED WAS EVERYTHING SAID BEFORE THIS. I WAS JUST DONE WITH MY BLOG, I HIT PASTE INSTEAD OF COPY, NOW I CANT GET BACK WHAT I TYPED OMG. UGH I DONT FEEL LIKE FINISHING THIS BLOG BUT I HAVE TO. UGH SO IRKATATED. In period three, we worked on our chrome books. In period six, we took a practice test on the SBAC. Don't wanna explain. Now my blog won't be as interesting because I don't want to go into detail because I'm mad. So I'm just giving little summaries about what happened during the periods. On Wednesday, the periods were 6, 2, 4. In period six we worked book fair. Well I did, with a couple other people. In period two, we started our notes on motion in the ocean then we went to the book fair. Aw I had a perfect blog now it's gone UGH I WISH THERE WAS AN UNDO BUTTON LIKE ON THE COMPUTERS. In period four, we planned on working bookfair but there were no classes so we just fixed books. Then we tried to stall by finding things to do instead of going to class. Yada yada yada. Thursday, periods were 1, 3, 5. In period one we worked on our workbooks yeah. In period three we worked on our chrome books. The usual. In period five, we worked bookfair. I took my two AR tests for the week I got the exact amount of pontine I needed. On Friday, the periods were 2, 4, 6, 5. In period two, we finished our notes on motion in the ocean. In period four, we read the giver. Maev and I ate our breakfast in that class because the line took forever so we got our food when the bell rang. In period six, I don't know what we did. I didn't pay attention. In period five we did marquee. The grass is so itchy I hate it.

Highlights were going to zippys with Chelsey and her mom, working bookfair, and going to taco bell with my girls. When we were at zippys Chesley pointed out a girls hair. It looked like a trashbag. Her hair was in a messy bun. I tried taking a pic of her hair but my flash went on so it was horrible. Luckily I stopped it before they noticed. Only ChelS noticed. Im so not slick. The only thing I liked about book fair was the AC, that's all. At Taco Bell, me and my friends had fun. We had cheese roll ups, and baja blasts. It was pretty funny too. And embarrassing for the other people.

Lesson learned was that you eventually have to grow up at some point. My blog is titled "Grow Up" because people just need to grow up and move past these little things that they have the urge to argue about. Why argue about it? It's not important. Makes no sense to argue over little things. I suggest that these people should just grow up and become less immature. Instead of wasting your time on arguing about these little things, why can't we just move past it and talk about things that are more important. What does arguing over little things do for you? Nothing, so get over it.

This week was four days only. No school on Tuesday again! Due to Veterans Day. On Monday, the periods were 6, 2, 4 & 3. People kept saying I was really dark. Cause I went camping LOL. When I went camping over the weekend, I went to the beach for both days from like 9:00 to 3 or 4. Surfiiin. In period six, I was eating chocolate Cheerios. We watched videos, took notes. Just what we do usually. Including the part where I eat. I always eat in class. In period 2, we had a sub. Guess what?. It was the same teacher I had for 6th period omg. Mr. Chong was our sub. We didn't really do much because no one pays attention in his class. So when he subbed for science, people did what they do in social studies. Play around, eat, talk loud, etc. didn't really accomplish much that period. In period four, we had a sub. Her name is Mrs. Fisher. She's really cool omg. She was rapping a song. And she let us eat in class too. Like she seen me eating but she didn't care at all. She just looked at me and smiled. She was in the army for like 7 or 8 years. I hope she subs again. In period 3, we used the chrome books. We had to do things on inquiry. We also de constructed the standard. We do things in those chrome books now. We barely do any pencil & paper work. On Tuesday, we had no school, like I said, it was Veterans Day. I went to the beach that day to go surfing again. This time, I brought emma with me. She used my body board and I used my surfboard. We went out really far. Her goal was to get darker. She only turned red LOL. I had a good time surfing that day. I'm traumatized to be honest. Cause when I landed in the shallow after catching a wave on the weekend, I kicked my foot on sharp coral while swimming back to my board. Then I got a cut. So like I get scared to jump off of my board. I like to go all the way out so when the wave dies, it doesn't die out in the shallow. On Wednesday, the period were 1, 3, 5. In period one, we worked on our booklets again, same daily stuff. We took a tripod survey. Ugh, it sucks. It's so boring omg. I took it 3 times so far. Hopefully no more after that. In period three, we started our outlines for this one prompt which was about if smartphones make us smarter, or dumber. I'm going with it makes us dumber. Too lazy to explain why LOL. So glad I didn't have to take a tripod survey in that class. During advisory, we got out progress reports. I have a C omg :((((( It's for algebra. In period five, we took the tripod survey too. My answers were simple answers. My response to them were quite obvious in which I chose. I love leadership. So it's obvious I gave the class a really good score, and I meant it. On Thursday, the periods were 2, 4, 6. In period two, we took the tripod survey omg. That was the third time taking the tripod survey... THIS WEEK!. After that, we went in our groups and finished a diagram. First group done got Ilima dollars and candy. In period four, we read the giver, and we did this newspaper article typa activity. We had to discuss a topic from the book. To show we actually read the book good. In period six, I ate cheerios again, and took notes on videos. When we finished notes and videos, I stuck my head in my bag and took a nap. It was really comfortable LOL. On Friday, it was a really lousy day. The periods were 3, 5, 1, 2. In period three, we used our chrome books. We did more stuff for our outlines. In period five, we just caught up with AR and stuff, since the library will be closed. In period one, we worked on our algebra books again. We have homework this time. I hate getting homework. In period two, we did deconstructing the standards. We did stuff on like if it's better to take notes on videos, pwoerpoints, or text books. Afterschool, It was such a journey with Keaho and Maevelyn. Ashlyn and chelsey left on the way. 

Highlight of the week was Friday afterschool. When I went to lings with Maevelyn chelsey Keaho and ashlyn we we ended up going to the pet store. Chelsey left with her grandma. In the back, we went to go look at the fishes, then I was tapoing on the glass because I liked watching the fishes jump and swim around LOL. Then a guy was like "do you think that was nice?" Then I was like "do I look like I care?" but only in my head LOL. Then after, we went to mcdonalds and we're just sitting down. Ashlyn left. After that, some guy asked us to watch his stuff for him while he went to the bathroom. He turned out to be one of the chariacture artists. He drew us for free. That day was really fun. That's why it was my highlight. 

Lesson learned, do good to one, recieve good in return. Just like how the man trusted us and we watched his stuff for him, he did us something good in return. Those drawings cost like $10-$15 for one. We got them for free. How great is that?. So lesson learned, if you do something good for a stranger, they could possibly do something good in return of your good deed :)

ISA Week

On Monday, the period were 2, 4, 6, 5. In period two, we had a rock cycle overview. We took notes in our notebooks and we just studied them. In period four, we read more pages in the book the giver. I don't like reading. In period six, we watched videos on the elections. Like the videos were on why people vote and stuff like that. In period five, we prepped for Isa BC ISA is on Friday. On Tuesday, it was a holiday, Election Day. So we didn't have school. I went to pearlridge with Korey. When we were waiting for the bus, we went to Walgreens and I got an icee. Kinda waste BC I didn't finish it on time. When the bus came, I wasn't done yet so I had to throw it awAy. RIP. On the bus, there were weird and scary looking people. Once we got there we walked around, we got robeks, and I bought shirts from T&C. It was buy one get one 50% off. So I took advantage of that LOL. On Wednesday,  the periods were 3, 5, 1. In period three we shared our tutorials with our groups and we wrote reflections on them. I officially hate doing tutorials. There's no point in them, so why do them. In period five, we just did catch up work. Everyone had bowl noodles LOL. Taven had kim chee bowl, me & tiana had a pho bowl, Deriecka had cup o noodles, Jayde and emma also had kimchee bowls. We can be the noodle period omg. Everyone just enjoyed the noodles BC we had nothing to work on and it was basically free time. In period one, we worked on our booklets again. I don't know why I'm in algebra omg. It's hard. I have a C in her class omg. I need to raise that before process reports or I'm screwed. On Thursday, periods were 4, 6, 2. In period 4, we read more pages on the giver omg kms. In period six, we had an election talk. We just talked about elections, why its held on Tuesdays. And other boring stuff. In period two, we made rocks out of crayon. We had to do all sorts of things to make the rocks into little pieces. Then we put it into foil and crushed it and put it into hot water. My rock had like five different colors. Magenta, light pink, white, gray, and black. It turned out pretty nice. On Friday, it was ISA so we had to come early to set up and stuff. My job was to watch if people walked on the infield. I got to sit in the shade. All I did was just sit down. It was really boring. I was just sitting there for like five hours LOL. Then we had pizza when all the schools left. The period that day were 5, 1, 3 & 4. I didn't go to any periods. In period four though, Mr. Ing made me stay back. Also Jahlyssa. We talked things out in A102. That day was a really good day, I got two friends back and I got the spray I was looking for LOL. that was my week. 

Highlights of my week would be friday. I got to work ISA for the first time because last year I didn't get to work ISA because of a problem I had. So this year I got to. It's actually pretty fun. Another highlight would be that I got two of my friends back. things might just go back to normal. But of course I won't leave my friends that I got when I lost my other two friends. 

Lesson learned is that it's best to talk things out instead of just letting it go away on its own. I thought that it was really good that I got to talk things out with someone. I think it helped both of us in a good way. We moved on from that problem that we had way back in the summer. Fixed things. And now everything might go back to how it was before. Things were so good before. Hopefully I can be better now that that problem is out of the way :-).

I hate school. It's really boring, the only thing that makes school fun is leadership. On Monday, the periods were odd. 3, 5, 1, 2 I believe. In period three, we shared our Trfs for tutorials. In period five, we drew maps for the Isa set up I believe. LOL I don't know what happened in the beginning of the week omg, I got 2turnt, jk(x. In period one, eh idk. LOL. In period two, I don't even think period two was our cclm that day, I think it was, but I'm sure it wasn't. Correct me if I'm wrong. On Tuesday, the periods were 4,6,2,1. I THINK, IM NOT SURE OMG. All I remember is that on that day, I got walked to class by someone ;) and we had our monthly LDSC meeting. So sad for Korey bc she was like ready to come but she couldn't LOL. Laila dripped her Melona on the car seat. We got Acai bowls after. We had pizza for food. I remember only the little details. On Wednesday, I think I remember. The period were 5, 1, 3. In period five, I forget omgggggg. Amnesia. But for the whole week, my group worked TV, Afterschoolsales, and IPod. On Thursday, I remember a little bit more. The period were 6, 2, 4. In period 6, I finished me cold read thingy. It didn't take too long. In period two, we had our last half of HSA testing. I got a bad score omg, I got 277! This was the first time I've ever gotten below 300. Ever since the first time we started doing HSA, I've never scored below 300 on any subject. Why this year!!!!. In period four, we watched a video called Harrison Bergeron or something like that. I knew that his first name was Harrison. Then that was it. On Friday, I remember the most BC it was just yesterday LOL. The periods were 1,3,5,6. In period one, we had different seats, the room is like so unorganized it's messy. But we got our new algebra booklet, we started working on the warm up page then we continued onto the first lesson. In period 3, Mr. Celebre was dressed as a girl omg it was like the funniest thing ever, I couldn't concentrate. But This guy named John Clark came to speak to us again. My group won $20 by just answering his question which was how do you split this for four people. We got $5 each. In period five, we did nothing as usual. During the advisories, we went to go score the halloween door decorations. I seen some pretty good ones. Most of them had the doll Annabelle on them. During period six, we were unproductive. We were just doing anykine. I was filing zoes nails. For Halloween in the day, I was a flower child, at night I was Pocahontas. 

Highlight of my week was Friday. It was pretty fun dressing up on Friday. I didn't really know what I looked like until people kept guessing what I was. I was supposed to look like the goddess from goddess interrupted, but I ended up looking like a hippie or a flower child. People called me flower child so I was just like "okay I guess I'm a flower child then". I didn't really get that much candy. I only kept the good ones. Then gave away the ones I didn't want. Lowlights were that a problem had been created. that's all.

Lesson learned was not to learn from your own mistakes, but from other people's actions. The same problem that just occurred happened last year too. The person who's involved is someone that I thought wouldve learned from other people's mistakes. I'm not gonna be pointing fingers, or naming the problem, but it's just a very important thing to keep in mind. That you should learn easily from other people actions and the the effects of it were. It could be very useful.

Retreat 2014

This years retreat was during school. October 20 - 22. The retreat is a really fun leadership activity. It's an activity that was created not to long ago. This activity features bonding with everyone and planning out the school year. It's a three day, two night field trip. Periods one and three had downstairs rooms, and period five got upstairs. I really enjoyed this years field trip, but last years was the best. Some activities stayed the same which was stuff like the magic notes activity, interview, playing cards, and crabbing. My group had an easy time coming up with the talent routine. For chopped, my group made mochi. I liked period threes chopped. It was actually pretty good. For talent, period one won 1st, period five won 2nd, and period three won 3rd. For chopped, period five won 1st, period three won 2nd, and period one won 3rd. I was pretty satisfied with the results. My period one 1st or 2nd. Not 1st & 3rd, or 2nd & 3rd, in that order. While crabbing we caught pretty big crabs. We dug them up from their homes. We shared one flashlight at night. It was pretty bad(x. On the second night, we had s'mores and deep fried Oreos. Me, jah, tiana, Deriecka, Jayde, naya, & Petriese all stayed up till like four playing kemps, bs, and spoons. It was pretty fun. For the activities, we had core value bracelets, memory collages, and interviews. I had lots of fun.

Some highlights were that we got to bond, get things done, and this retreat was smooth. More highlights were that I got to play cards with people that I've drifted from, so we got to become just a little closer. Another highlight is that my group won first for chopped and 2nd for talent. Last highlight would be that the chopped and talent show was really good. All the talents were really funny and all the chopped were good. Lowlights were that people stayed in the room the whole time doing stuff they weren't supposed to be doing. Another lowlight was the that during one session, people went outside when the session wasn't over yet. Last lowlight would be that the gopro died on the first day. The stupid wifi was on the whole time, which made it die and I had no charger. Out of all things, I forgot to bring the charger for the gopro. Really cheana(x

I learned that my group is really crazy, and most of us don't have rhythm. There wasn't much to learn about my group. What I learned about the other groups were that they hangout with eachother and don't like to include me, tiana, emma and Taylor. Sorry, but that's what I've been noticing. It actually makes me sad because last year, we all were getting along so well. I what I learned about the chaperones which were laila shayna and Jolene, wasn't much. Laila, hung out with me a lot at the retreat. She helped me re create my memory collage. Shayna, ehh didn't learn much cause I already know what I do. Oh Jolene likes to pick on me(x what I learned about Mr. Ing was that he snores. LOL THATS IT(x that's all I know. I learned everything else before.
