19th week of school. Last week of second quarter

Wow, we got down to the last week of the second quarter. On Monday, I was trying to study for science because we had our quarterly test which included everything we learned that quarter. I made a study guide. I used google drive to make it. That day was an even day. On Tuesday, I was in a hastle to study, I had to remember everything that we learned that quarter. But when it came to the science test, I breezed through it! It was really easy. I don't feel like I got any wrong, well I think I got atleast one wrong. I had science for the first period of the day. On Wednesday, we ended school at 2:10. We switched schedules with Friday. So on Wednesday we finished at 2:10, then on Friday we finished at 1:30. On Thursday, Chelsey, Alesia, and I were matching. We were wearing denim jeans, and grey pull overs.  But Chelsey and I matched more. We had our hair the same style, we had black and white shoes, and we wore the same clothes. That day, all we did in the periods were watch movies and eat candycanes. Except for period one, Mr. Nishimura. We had to take typing tests. On Friday, it was winter fair. The schedule for the day was really confusing. The winter fair wasn't that bad. We had games, food, and music. We had shifts for when we worked. We had to set up when it was our leadership periods. After school, petriese, Alesia, cheziree, jahlyssa, Emi, and I caught bus to genki sushi. We ate and got starbucks. Right after, I had to go to walmart to pick up the tv that we pre ordered on the thanksgiving sale. 

The highlight of my week was Friday. I did so much fun things that day. Winter fair took up our class times. I actually was confused by the schedule. In winter fair, all of leadership worked the first shift. Then we all had a break in the second shift except for period two. Period two worked the second shift. Then period four worked the third shift. Then period six worked the fourth shift. Then we all worked the last shift. We got pizza and drinks after we cleaned up. When we got our pizza, the period six bell rang. So we brought our drinks and food to class. I ate my pizza and drank my juice in period six. We had meetings that day. I didn't attend my meeting for ar because we wern't needed. All we do in the meetings are sit down and watch them talk. When we went to Genkis, we ate. Then we went to Starbucks. After that we walked home.

Lesson learned was to never get yourself into a situation where you aren't involved. I don't know who, and I don't need to know who, but someone got into a problem that didn't concern them. If you get into a situation which doesn't concern you, it could cause more problems. I'm done with getting into problems. So the best that I can do is stay out of it. If it doesn't concern me, I shouldn't worry about it. Lesson learned.

2nd Quarter Blog

Wow, didn't this quarter go by quick?! I can't believe the end of the quarter is near. In this quarter I was trying to get higher than a 3.5. That's what I got last quarter. Well with some of my teachers it's really hard to get an A. Like my math teacher. She gives you F's for when you're absent, even though you give and excuse note. Maybe I'll try harder next quarter. I'm probably ending this quarter with A's and B's again. Oh well. At least im still getting honor roll. There had been a couple of problems this quarter. One about cheating on AR tests, one about creating more problems, one about asking dumb questions, one about following, and one that is unspecified. Three of the same people were in all of them except the unspecified problem. I was in the first problem, but I dug myself out of it by printing out my core value when Mr. Ing asked. This quarter was really great. We had our retreat before we went back to school, we had our bowling field trip, and we had secret santa. We did a lot more things than we did in the first quarter. Lots of things changed. But I think that this quarter, there has been a lot of drama, and problems. It gives me a headache, literally. I just cant handle problems and drama. It keeps me from catching up and staying on the same level. Its like getting pushed in a hole. Then all your friends move on, then your stuck there trying to find a way out. While everyone is ahead, you're behind. I don't like that. That's why i tried to do the best that i could to avoid falling into that hole. This quarter was very busy though. Maybe because we had to get a lot of things done, and there were a lot of holidays that were interfering. I can't wait for third quarter. In this quarter, I felt like I knew what I needed to know. But what I learned was to never get into anyone's business. And always be honest. I learned from my mistakes that I have made this quarter. And those were dumb mistakes. I regret making those desicions. 

I've became really close to some people. The people that i met in the first quarter are almost the people that i can really trust. We had our moments. But im not sure if im ready to trust anyone that i knew for three months. Im glad to call some of them my friend. I made alot of friends in first quarter. And i got close to some of my teachers. Now in this quarter, it seems like we have known each other forever. I never thought that i could get along with people from other schools. But i actually could. I actually became closer to people from other schools, and i drifted from most of the people that came from my school. But it actually didn't matter that we came from different schools. We are still people. I don't know why i thought that i couldn't make friends with people from other schools.

I learned a lot this quarter. I think that my knowledge now will make a huge impact on me in the future. It could help me prepare for the worst. With the year almost ending, i just want to reflect on how great this year and quarter was for me. I don't think that i could forget how it was entering a new school as a new person. Even though its only the second quarter, i think that i changed a lot. I just cant believe that the quarter is coming to and end. It went by really quickly. This is probably just another quarter that's the same as the others. But I honestly think that this is a quarter that i could never forget.

18th Week of School

Were almost to the end of the second quarter!. This week was a breeze. On Monday, it was an odd day. 4A worked after school sales. There were no afterschool sales that day. On Tuesday, it was evens. That time, we worked after school sales. But I was the only one in period 4 that could work after school sales. It was only me, Jahlyssa, Jayde, and Laila. Most eighth graders couldn't work because of the problem they recently had. I don't know what the problem is, and I don't want to know about it either. At petrieses house, my ball fell off of my kendama. Petriese was like "Cheana! Your ball fell off!" So I said "okay guys I need a lighter and the broken kendama. Operation kendama!". So I tried burning the string back together, then while petriese was playing with it she called out a second time "Cheana your ball broke off again!" So the second operation Kendama, I just tied a knot on the bead. I went to city lights that night with my sister, niece, and Aj at about 9:00. We stopped by ala moana first. When I was going up the escalator, my shoelace got stuck in it on the last step!. I was so scared. I was calling out my sisters name "Chas! Chas! Help!" Then she yanked it out. I was so scared. When we got to city lights, we went inside of this building, and it was all Pokemon! It was so weird. I got home at about 11:40. I still got up early that morning. On Wednesday, afterschool we went to petrieses house and were playing hide and clap with the a beanie covering our eyes. I hit my back twice. It was so sore. The next day, was Thursday. On Thursday after school we went to Emeries house. From her house we walked to Safeway. When we were walking to Starbucks, andrei was pushing me in those carts with the cars infront. There was a car coming and he almost got me ran over. I was screaming "ANDREI! STOP!". He just kept going. I almost got killed!. It was pretty fun walking there though. On Friday, some people got to go bowling for ISA. Jah and I were on one team and the eighth graders were on another. We challenged 6th graders at kapolei middle. Jah got about four strikes and I mostly got spares. Bowling is hard, but fun. Afterschool my mom took me to get bubble tea. After that, I went to foodland and I seen Jayde!. On Saturday, I went with my brother to his dentist. He now goes to the same dentist as me. After his dentist he bought me a new kendama. And grey and black tribute kendama. That's my early Christmas present. I went to a 1st birthday party afterwards. I performed with my cousin and her friends from studio 808. We danced. During the routine, Cerilyn fell down when she was doing pirouettes. When she fell, she was laughing. 

Highlight of my week was going bowling. even though jah and I weren't the best, we still tried. We may not have gotten the highest scores, but that's okay. We tried. When it was my turn and I got a gutter ball, Mr. Ing said "Cheana you have to hit the white things". Then I was like "Hahaha I know!". Jah always got higher scores than I did. At least I was trying. We played three games against the same schools. Jah and I were always the first to finish. Only because there was only two of us. When the ball was about to come out of the machine, Korey was like "the baby is coming!". It was so hillarious

Lesson learned was when you do something, and fail, be proud, because atleast you tried. I got those words from Chris the clown at the party I went to. When he had the competitions and one person lost to the other, he always have a miniature version of the balloon to the person who lost. And when he does that, he said "my rules are, you deserve a reward because atleast you tried". I found it kind how he said that. He was even the clown for my first birthday party. He's still the kind person he is today. 

 

17th week of esquela (sp?)

Wow this week went by pretty quick. I can't believe it's Saturday!. On Monday, it was an even day. Period 4A worked Tv. I went on tv on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mackenzie and I told a joke on Thursday. On Monday, we went to our friend Emeries house. It was really fun at her house. We played this game where we toss an egg up in the air then we have to stay in place and we couldn't move unless we wanted to lose. Petriese almost got hit with the egg, it was right infront of her. I didn't go to school on Friday. I was sick, I had a cold. I kept sneezing, and coughing. On Thursday, in science, period five, my teacher let me see my work, and it was laminated! My partner Momi, was like "is it plastic?" Then our hashtag is now "#isitplastic?". It was an inside joke. My science teacher laminated all my homework. After school that day, we went to mcdonalds with my friends Dyllan, Dani, Demi, Petriess, Alesia, Momi, and Malia. Dyllan ordered six happy meals! Just for her and her two sisters to eat. I call them triple Dee's bc their names all start with D. Two happymeals dor each sister. When we got home, Alesia, petriese, and I walked to Starbucks. After Starbucks, we went to longs, and got Oreos. After our Starbucks run, we went to my house to get pancake mix and powdered sugar. We went to petrieses house after. At petrieses house. We made deep fried Oreos. It was pretty good. On Friday, Alesia and I stayed over at petrieses house late. Until 12:00 am. At petrieses house, while the daylight was still burning, we attempted to climb up petrieses roof with the ladder. Petriese was first to go up, she climbed up like Mama, from the movie mama. It was so funny. When I tried climbing up, I almost fell off the ladder. I almost got hurt! But he ladder was there to catch my fall. The pebbles on the roof was slippery, so I slipped on the roof. That's how I got cuts on my leg. My leg got scratched. After that I chose not to go up the roof. Lesson learned. Never climb up the roof. That night, I made saimin for petriese and Alesia. I'm a future chef. Well that's what I plan to be. My saimin was perfect, so was my deep fried Oreos. On Saturday, today, I went to the dentist in the morning -,-. I have a new dentist, it's right infront of pearlridge. Right next to the new Kaiser Permanente. It's really fun because there's a tv in the room where they clean your teeth! And they let you change the channel to whatever you want. I was watching teen beach movie. Then when they lay you down, there's a tv on the ceiling! So there's two tvs in the room. It's really cool!. My sister works there at the front desk. On the front desk there's a board that says "welcome!" Then it has our names written on the board. The first name was Sheila! LOL. When I seen it I was like "Sheila who?!". My dentists are always near malls. My first dentist was right infront of Ala Moana. My dentist now is right infront of pearlridge. I always go shopping after the dentist. When I got home, Alesia and petriese came over. Then I made them deep fried Oreos again. Then after, we went to petrieses house to sleep over. So Alesia and I are sleeping over petrieses house. Right now, we are at city lights. Were all typing our blogs that the same time too. The lights are really pretty!

The highlight of my week was going to Emeries house. On the way there, we took the long way. But it was a fun walk. We were sweating!. I kept making andrei laugh by making my head shake by making my bones tight. Well I don't know how to explain it. We also played volley ball at Emeries house. We played kendama, we played monkey in the middle, and we played soccer. It was really fun at her house. We also went walking around the neighborhood. We also ate pho before we went to Emeries house. That day was really fun. We couldn't wait to go to her house again. At her house, there was never a time where we just sit around. We were doing something the whole time we were there.

Lesson learned was to not repeat something if it didn't work out well the first time, because you never know what could happen the second time. Like how I tried climbing the roof but I almost fell and got hurt. So I decided not to go up a second time. I got cuts on my legs for trying to climb up. Just to make sure I don't get hurt badly, I didn't go up a second time. I didn't want to risk the chance of falling off the ladder the second time. I'd rather learn from my mistakes than get hurt from my mistake. It's not even safe to go up the roof! So why did I even bother to go up there? Well it was because I wanted to be like Alesia and petriese. Sitting up on the roof, but I guess I don't always have to fit in.
