16th Week Of School

3 day school week wuuuut. Thanks giving took up two school days this week. This week was short. Period 4A worked the ID machine. Not much people came in this week. This week was sorta useless. They should have gave us the whole week off. We cant get anything done in three days. Whats the point?.  Anyways, I'm thankful for my life. Without life, I wouldn't be here right now. I'm actually thankful for everything I have. On Monday, we had to tell Mr. Ing what we were gonna use our bookfair extra credit for. I used it for the days that the seventh graders that were apart of the AR problem and didn't get to work. I think I used all of my extra credits. I was gonna use it to finish the bottom bar for AR. The bottom bar is the struggle. I don't understand how i'm supposed to reach that bar. On Tuesday, since Mr. Ing said that there was going to be an alternative Secret Santa, and he was going to put the invitations in our cubbies, I checked my cubby almost every single time I stepped foot into A101. I was getting a little worried because I couldn't see an invitation in my cubby. Even worse, I didn't know how the invitation was supposed to look like. Gaah, the struggles. I tried making sure I get an invitation by keeping my grades up. I had all A's and B's and one C. I kept asking people "Do C's count?" then they said no. So I kept complaining and saying, "Then how did I not get a Secret Santa invitation?!". I searched and searched in my cubby. I didn't find it. On the day of the reaping (The day we drew names LOL), I found it in my cubby. That was on Wednesday. Wednesday was also PBS opt out. I opted out for 5 Ilima bucks. I wore my softball jersey. "And may the Secret Santa continue. May the odds be ever in your favor". After school that day, the people doing faculty and staff for the yearbook was supposed to meet at A101 after school so we could take picture of the team teachers. Only Khrizz and I showed up. That was not good. Jezrae and Sheila didn't show up. Now they created another problem and they can't do yearbook. When Khrizz and I walked to where the 8-2 teachers were having a meeting, they said no. They said no just because they weren't ready to take pictures, and because one teacher didn't have her hair done. When we took pictures for 7-3 teachers, Mr. Nishimura gave us skittles. I couldn't wait to go home. Four day weekend!. On Thursday it was turkey day. Like I said earlier, i'm thankful for everything that I have. After we went to the Thanks Giving lunch at my uncle's house, we went straight to Walmart at about 3 or 4:00. It wasn't that crowded, YET. I got a new laptop which is touchscreen, I got the 28 pack of sharpies, and I got a grey hoodie. The hoodie is really comfortable. I stood near the activity tables to get the Minnie Mouse table for my niece. I made friends with the girls that were trying to get the table for their little brothers or little sisters. Behind me was the leap frog tablets. There was a lady that was trying to get one for her daughter and one for the lady that was saving her spot in line for the iPad mini. I was tearing the plastic with my nails and making holes so the lady can easily get it when it turns 6:00. Once I heard screaming and tearing of plastic, I looked around and I seen everyone rushing. Since the Minnie Mouse table was all the way in the middle, this girl named Roxy helped me get it out because she was trying to get the same table. The other girls helped too. They lifted up the tables that was on top, and Roxy and I pulled two Minnie Mouse tables. That was good team work. After that, we all disappeared. I never seen them in the store again. I wanted to thank them for helping me get the table out but once I got my table out, they were gone into the blue. I was satisfied with what I got that day. On Friday, I did barely anything. I went to Kmart with my mom. Then went to Costco with my mom and dad.

The highlight of my week was going to the Thanks Giving sale at Walmart. It was so crowded. Body heat! When we left Walmart, there was a really long line going all around the parking lot. Just to get into Walmart!. Crazy!. I'm glad we got into the store at 4:00. We got in like regular customers. I found it fun standing in long lines, fighting over things, and being trampled on. I was so eager to use my laptop. My laptop is the HP Pavilion Touch Smart. People trample each other for sales exactly one day after being thankful for what they already have, unreal. Well I trampled people on the day that I was being thankful (x. My parents spent about $500 dollars that day. I'm glad they decided to buy me a laptop. Exactly one year ago, on Thanks Giving, they bought my brother a HP laptop. But his isn't touch screen like mine ;). I'm very blessed to have parents like them.

Lesson learned was to be thankful for everything you have. Never regret anything. I'm thankful for such caring parents, and the best family ever. They're always there for me. They love me no matter what. They support me each step of the way. I love them to death. I am also thankful for my life. Without my parents, I wouldn't be here. They dealt with me for 12 years. They loved me for those 12 years. That's why i'm thankful for them. I am thankful for everything, from the little things that don't matter to the things that really count. I'm glad i'm alive and breathing. That's all i need to be thankful for.

15th week of school

This week was a very busy week. We worked bookfair and ISA soccer shoot out. This week 4A worked morning and recess music. On Monday, we did book fair. We didn't have any classes so we didn't have to work. On Tuesday, we worked recess music again. And soccer shootout. For bookfair, I took off period three. For bookfair, I worked behind the little things just so no one sneaks it out. And I also worked as watching people near the books. On Wednesday, we worked morning music again. And we worked book fair for period four. On Thursday, I worked bookfair for period five. We worked morning music. And it was the last day of soccer shootout. At the end of eighth grade soccer shoutout, we got to kick the ball into the goal with our groups. My group won first with fifteen points total. The group that was just before mine was Jahlyssa's group. They won second with ten points. I got to kick twice. That scored us ten points, then Apples kicked the final kick and got it in. That gave us fifteen. Jahlyssa got to kick twice. Aleesha missed. That left them with ten points. I don't play soccer yet, I still got it in both times. In book fair, I was supposed to go to the book fair with my period five, but I was working at that time. On Friday, it was same old, same old. As usual we worked morning music. That day there wasn't soccer shootout. We worked book fair I think. For period four. After school my dad picked up Jahlyssa and I at Burger King. We got Starbucks after because I had a but one get one free. Jah got the free. At about ten at night, I went to watch Catching Fire with my brother, my brothers girlfriend, and his friends. It was supposed to start at 11:30 but there were a lot of previews. So it started at about 12:00 and it ended at 2:15. It felt like three hours when it actually was two. In my opinion I think that the first movie was better. We got home at about three. I woke up at seven on Saturday to get ready for campus beautification. I only had four hours of sleep. My group painted yellow boundary lines. It was fun. I also painted the speed bumps. I painted it with a boy named Jeremy and Ms. Fukuda. Ms. Fukuda accidentally painted the tick mark that showed where the parking stall was. She didn't know.

Highlight of my week was doing campus beautification. When we were painting, Mr. Lee's daughter, Maddison kept showing us how to do things. She's only three. She's so adorable!. She's really smart too. When Khrizz and I were taking out the tape that was covering the ground where we weren't supposed to paint, I made it into a ball. And I put one on the other. I was planning to make a ball to play with, but it turned out looking like a baby. So I said "Khrizz! Make a bow. This looks like a baby girl" and Khrizz said "Ooh, let's name her and combine her name!" We came up with Chizz, but that was too weird (x. Then we came up with Kraena. That's what we named her, Kraena. Kevin, Aleesha, and Laila dropped her -,-. Her crib is my cubby. Campus beautification was tiring. When I got home I took a shower then fell asleep. Then I had to wake up to got to a party. I went to sleep at about 1:30 and woke up at 4:00. We made the campus look pretty good. With the lines going down the stairwells, a line going all the way down from A building all the way down to C building, and lines near the curbs where it's off limits. I'm glad some people cared and chose to volunteer even though they didn't have to. That was a nice thing of them to do.

Lesson learned. Lesson learned was that it's always good to work together. If you can't work together, it will be hard to get things done. At campus beautification we had to work together to get things done. One person can't just pain the stairwells, and lines by themselves. That would take really long. We managed to get all of it done in three hours by working together. There wasn't really any problems besides the fact that on the curbs there were paint where it wasn't supposed to be. At least we worked together to accomplish beautifying the campus!. Teamwork is the best solution to get things done quickly.

Here is baby Kraena, Daddy Khrizz, and Mommy Cheana
"Paint me a picture"
"Okay I will paint you this yellow line that means do not go beyond this point"

14th Week of School

Okay so this week was a four day school week. We didn't have school on Monday because of Veterans Day. Petriese, Alesia, and Chelsey slept over my house on Sunday. We were telling real ghost stories. I got scared. While they were telling the story, I accidedentally kicked my lamp and it unplugged. We all got scared. I tried turning the lamp on and off, but it wouldn't work. Then I realized that it unplugged. Silly Cheana. On Monday, we ate breakfast, then we went to Starbucks. Then we went to foodland and bought waterballoons. After, we walked to Petrieses house. We filled up the balloons with water, then we had a waterballoon fight. It was tallest against shortest. Alesia and Chelsey vs Petriese and I. Alesia sprayed me with the hose. After that, Chelsey and I went back to my house. At my house I painted chelseys nails. She said she wanted her middle finger a different color. She tried not messing up her nails. The next day was Tuesday. On Tuesday period 4A worked lunch music. Periods that day was 6, 2, 4. I had English, then math, then leadership.  On Wednesday, Mackenzie and I forgot the iPod at the cafe. We were stuck in A101 during both lunches. We all had a discussion with Mr. Ing. We forgot all about the iPod. When I was in period five, I realized that we didn't pick up iPod. That made a problem. The custodians had to bring it to Mr. Ing. After school I went to the cafeteria to see if it was still there. It wasn't so I realized that it was back in A101. On Wednesday, we remembered to pick up the iPod. On Thursday, we went to check out the park for the evacuation. While we were walking through the path, Daisy was getting scared of the dogs. And someone was saying "What if a raper comes out?". When school ended, Mackenzie and I went to eat pho. It was pretty good. When we left, we seen Laila, Korey, and Khrizz coming out of Ohana drive inn. The next day, we had the evacuation. I was holding D building first floors sign. The walk was pretty far. We didn't get to take our path that we took earlier that day. The other way was farther. Period three was really short. From about 9:00 to 9:59. The other periods were still one hour and twenty minutes. At practice, I was really tired!. We did about 7 suicides. They weren't normal suicides, they were really far apart. Before that, we sprinted back and forth about 10 times. It was really tiring. I felt like I was gonna faint. When I was going home, I fell asleep. I had a headache. When I got home I tried sleeping on the couch downstairs, my mouth was watering a lot for some reason. Five seconds later, I threw up a lot. I went straight into the shower. Just like what happened on the AR opt out day. I went home early that day.

The highlight of my week was doing the evacuation. We got time out of third period. For some reason, it felt like Halloween. I don't really know why though. It was weird. We got mini water bottles after to drink. I put mine in the freezer. At recess, I took it out and there was ice in it. When we first got it, it was warm. Then it froze and it tasted much better. During the evacuation we stood holding signs. A lot of people brought out jackets, that was a problem. And some even had their devices with them. I seen someone post a picture on Instagram of them walking to the park for the evacuation. They could've gotten in trouble but they were too sly. Mrs. Shinjo changed our plans. We weren't supposed to take attendance. But she made us anyways. Evacuation didn't go as we planned it would.

Lesson learned. The lesson I learned was to be more responisble and to never forget what you're supposed to do in order to move on. Like how we forgot to pick up the iPod. We were supposed to remember to pick it up. But we forgot and made a problem. We should've reminded each other to pick up the iPod. But we both forgot. That's why on Friday, I wanted to leave extra early to pick up the iPod. That time I thought about the iPod the whole day. I never forgot about it. That was putting my group first. I put my group first by thinking about what has to be done for my group. I never forgot About what had to be done.

13th Week of School

Since I always forget what occurred during the week, I decided to write parts of my blog everyday. On Sunday, I got a new phone! The iPhone 5s. I was so happy when I got it. So on Monday, the periods were odd, 1, 3, 5. In home room during C.C.T.V period two kept laughing during the broadcast. They said because Mrs. Anbe tripped on the cord. They laughed after almost every sentence. Mr. Ing said that a different period has to go on the next day. During period one, keyboarding, our groups were graded on our bar graphs and pie charts. My partner and I got 39/40! That's an A. I was satisfied. At least it will bring my grade up by a little bit. During recess everyone attacked my cereal. Especially Khrizz. In my period three, social studies, we had to turn in our projects. We had to make a Facebook page or an Instagram page for one of the monarchs we learned in class. I did Kamehameha IV. Alexander Liholiho. I made an Instagram page. After we turned it in, we played a monarch game with the whole class. We had to guess which monarch the paper is talking about. The first paper that was shared was mine. Everyone guessed wrong besides my group. Cause I told them it was mines and I said it was the fourth. We got every page right. We won the game and we got Ilima bucks. In my period five, science, we got to look in microscopes. We looked at a plant cell, onion cell, and cheek cell. For the cheek cell I volunteered for my group to use my cheek cell. I had to use a toothpick and scratch the inside of my cheek. Then Mrs. Fujimoto put a dye on the slide and I swirled the toothpick around in it. Then I put the cover and placed it on the microscope stage. I could see my own cheek cell! It looked really cool. She let us take pictures with our phones. Here's a picture of my cheek cell using the medium lense.
The dye made it brownish orangish. She had to dye it because the cells are white or clear. The only way we could view it was if it was dyed. I was late to afterschoolsales because we were looking through microscopes. On Tuesday, we had a very interesting home room. We had a discussion about our solutions for our problem. Everyone kept shooting down our ideas. It was an even day. 2, 4, 6. I had math first. Then leadership, then English. We had a substitute. 7th graders weren't allowed to work. On Wednesday, it was an odd day. 3, 5, 1. In social studies, we played this monarchy game. Ms. Chin showed a piece of our project to the class, then we had to guess which monarch it was protaining to. My group won because everyone got stumped on the first one that was shared. The first one was mine. Kamehameha IV, Alexander Liholiho. The period after that was science. The period after that was keyboarding. Mr. Nishimura had his teachers evaluation. Mr. Lee came into our period and observed what we were learning. Mr. Nishimura didn't sound nothing like himself that day. I didn't even know it was him. He was really nice that day LOL. I helped almost everyone with their power points and Mr. Lee was sitting next to my partner and I. He was watching us. Before Mr. Lee left, he told Mr. Nishimura that he is gonna hire me when Mr. Nishimura retires. Then Mr. Nishimura told me what Mr. Lee told him. I didn't believe him until he asked the boy that sits near his desk if he actually said that. On Thursday, it was an even day, 4, 6, 2. I had leadership, then English, then math. In leadership we spray painted the fields again. When I had to move the tape measure, I got paint all over my palms. It was really hot outside. I had to hold the sprinkler so that it wouldn't wet them while they were spraying the fields. That was fun. At least I got to wash the paint off with the sprinkler. I finally got to see Kaimiloa. I never did see it before. On Friday it was ISA. Out of the five of us that got I trouble for AR, Chelsey, Haley, and I were the only ones that could help out during the morning, recess, and at advisory. It was really hot. Me, Lailer, and Korey tried doing pull-ups on the bars at the court. Chelsey, Haley, and I had to still had to go to class. I wanted to work badly. The periods were 5, 1, 3. In period five science, when I turned in my homework, Mrs. Fujimoto seen it and she said to the class "Oh I love homework from Cheana!". And we took a mini test. I got 23/25. That's an A. In period one keyboarding, we had to go to R102 for class because Mr. Nishimuras AC in E205 had to get fixed. The AC in that room was colder. We took a skills test, I wasn't used to that keyboard. We typed a letter, Chelsey and I made the letter for Mr. Nishimura. We also made PowerPoint for fun. In period three social studies, we had another debate in class. This week flew by really fast. I didn't realize that today was Friday.

The highlight of my week was spending time with Alesia (Alay-Sha) when she came back. She said that her name was actually supposed to be pronounced as Alaysha. But people started calling her Alesia (Ale-Sha). So now there is only one Aleesha. And there is one Alaysha. Alesia & Aleesha. Looks the same, pronounced differently. Homophones!. She got taller. When we were playing tether ball down on Petrieses street, Alesia tried riding the penny board, then she fell, and now she has a cut on her knee. It was bleeding. And now she has a new way of making a bandaid. She has a lot of inventions in her head now days. First the ghetto go pro. And now the ghetto band aid?!. Oh Alesia you're so funny. She used paper towel, folded it so it fits her cut, then put seram wrap around her knee, then put duck tape in the back so it wouldn't come apart. Most of her inventions involve duck tape and seram wrap. So make sure you have all the materials before you make one. She's so silly oh my gosh.

Lesson I learned this week was to make the right choice. We chose to cheat on AR, that was our choice. But we made a wrong and very bad choice. Now we are suffering from the consequences. I regret asking for help on the AR test that one time. Now our group suffered. There was only two people from period four that worked ISA. I felt really bad for them. I learned from my mistake, not to ever do it again. I will never cheat on an AR test ever again.

12th Week of School

School, school, school. 12th week of school. This week went by pretty fast. On Monday we worked after school sales. Petriese brought her slinky to school. It was even periods that day. I can't remember what happened. Ugh why can't I remember what I did during the week. On Tuesday, for science we had to do a project of what a plant or animal cell is like. I did a plant cell is like a house. When I was drawing, Mrs. Fujimoto showed my drawing on the projector. She said "I'm excited for this one". In period 3, social studies, Jordan and I went down to the library because Ms. Chin let us, so we printed out our papers.  On Wednesday, we had a substitute for period two math. Mrs.Russo. She was scary. We had to stay quiet the whole time. When Chelsey and I had to leave class early for afterschool sales, whole walking to A building stairs, the security guard let us use the elevator to go down. It was cool. But it sucked that it was only one floor down. On Thursday it was Halloween. We had to dress out. I was a nerd. Too bad I don't have suspenders. For period five science that day, since our finished projects had to be turned in, my project was the only one that neat. Well that's what my teacher said. I was the only one who had to share because my teacher said it was beautiful (x. When I finished presenting all my classmates were like "wow so pro". And one of them said "Mrs.Fujimoto too bad yours isn't like that" and Mrs.Fujimoto said "It's mines now" I was laughing. We got candy too. In period one Mr.Nishimura gave us lolipops. In period three we had Ms. Arakawa as a substitute. She was dancing. She was really funny. After school Khrizz asked if she could have my cereal. I said you can have some. I gave the ziplock to her and I tried getting it back so I had to chase her around for it. The struggles. For Halloween that night I was the girl in black. While petriese was passing out candy at her house, I was sitting on her dads truck and my hair was messed up. I was scaring people. One house that we went to, petriese got a toothbrush. And every house that we went to after that, she would always be like "where's my toothbrush?!" "Oh my gosh is my toothbrush still in my bag?". Ah she was so worried about her toothbrush. We didn't get that much candy this year. On Friday I didn't go to school cause I had a stomach ache from the candy I ate on Thursday. I just ate candy corn and I got a stomach ache the next morning. I guess I didn't check my candy well enough. Later on that night I went to Bellows beach with petriese and her family. They were supposed to camp out there but they didn't want to. We played hide and clap, we danced, we got f'real. There f'real there is cheap. F'real. LOL see what I did there?. It was $2.79. Petriese and I taught the little kids there how to dance to our version to gas pedal. It was so cute!. We also went crab hunting! I brought my crabs home. They're still alive as of now. I just checked on them. I'm so weird. I got pinched by a crab for the first time, it clipped itself on my hand and I have a cut now. Straight thug. On Saturday, I went to my little cousins birthday party. When we did the piñata when it was my turn to hit the piñata I broke it. They said I shouldn't have played because I play softball. At least they didn't have to wait forever for the little kids to break open that thing.

Highlight of my week was going to bellows beach. Petriese and I were sorta matching. We wore shoes with long socks. Ugh I wanted to wear slippers but slippers wouldn't match with my outfit. Yeah I worry about my clothes that I wear. My shoes got wet because when I dived for a crab, and then I got up, a wave splashed on my feet. It felt uncomfortable. I actually benifited from wearing my shoes. When a crab ran, it would hide under my shoe. Easy catch!. There wear a lot of crabs. Big and small. I caught mostly all the big crabs. The girls would scream when they see a crab. Petrieses dad smashed the crabs instead of catching it. When we got back to the camp sight, they cooked the crabs! They put it in foil, then they put wine, shoyu, onion, calamansi, and other things then they put it on the grill. While it was cooking you could hear the crabs popping open. Poor crabs. When they opened the foil there were crab legs all over the place. They exploded. The dads there ate the crabs it was gross. I dared one of the 10 year old boys to eat one. I counted "One, Two, Three!" Then he put it in his mouth. He said it tasted gross. Dancing was fun. There was one girl who was as weird as me!. We kept yelling "Ya nasty". She was so adorable. The last time we went to bellows we camped out. Me, petriese, Alesia, and petrieses family. This year it still looked like slenderman a forest. It was really creepy. It gave me the chills. I hope the next time we go, we camp out.

Lesson learned was to be careful. Like to becareful around fire, I got burnt when one of the girls were playing with a burning puck. A spark flew in my direction and it landed on my finger then it burnt my finger. And when I caught a crab, it pinched me and wouldn't let go. It hurt so badly. I never got pinched that hard from a crab before. I wasn't careful when I was near the water. And then the water wet my shoe. That's why it's important to always be cautious and careful.

Hammahs,
